    My pleasure, I’m happy to help. 🙂

    Thanks for clarifying! I just set the “Community Corner” page to display posts in my setup (screenshot) but am still unable to replicate the issue.

    At this point, I’d suggest temporarily activating the default Twenty Thirteen theme, to see if the issue happens there as well.

    If disabling the theme fixes it, that’s good news! It means we have narrowed the issue down to a theme conflict.

    If the issue is still there when using the default Twenty Thirteen theme, then we can try testing for conflicts with other installed plugins. Using the Twenty Thirteen, please try deactivating all of your plugins, except for the ones from Modern Tribe. Does that solve the problem? If so, reactivate the plugins one at a time until the issue pops back up, then tell me which one was causing the issue.

    These steps are also outlined here if you want some more details on how to test for conflicts.

    Give those steps a shot and let me know what you find.

    Cheers!

    Hi there, Nicklas! Thanks for getting in touch. 🙂

    Great questions. Let’s see if we can hit them one at a time.

    1. I need to be able to build and show weekly schedules for 5 different centers in five different sub pages on a wp site.

    The PRO version of the plugin does comes with a Weekly View, so we’ve got you covered there. You can also create Venues in the plugin, which might be a handy way to categorize the events in your calendar. The Venues also get their own pages, which includes a map and list of upcoming events associated with that specific venue. Sounds like this would be a handy feature for you.

    We don’t currently have the ability to manage separate calendars. However, using Venues and Event Categories and linking to their respective URLs might just be what you’re looking for.

    2. the schedules need to be able to support reoccurring events so that the owner don’t need to program each class separatley for every date for all of the centers.

    PRO comes with recurring events, so you’re good to go there. The recurring events can follow standard patterns (e.g. weekly) or custom patterns (e.g. 2nd Tuesday of every month), so it’s pretty flexible.

    3. But it also need to able to cancel reoccurring events on some of the dates if there is a holliday for lets say, 4th july or christmas day. (cancel the event on that specific date, not for the rest of the whole period)

    Recurring events can be modified on a series and individual basis, so you can edit one event in the series or the entire series at once. That includes deleting an event from the series, if you need to. You can do that without deleting the entire series.

    4. Finally i need some function to bring todays classes from all the centers and show in some sort of list on the frontage in a widget bar.

    PRO also comes with a Events List widget. It does exactly what you’d think, which is display a certain number of events (which you can specify) in a widget area of your site. Although it isn’t able to be filtered by events on a specific day, it does include the ability to filter events in certain categories and tags. Here is a screenshot of what the widget options look like in the admin screen.

    I’m sure it would be possible to limit the display of events in the widget to those in the current day, but it would take a bit of customization from what comes out of the box. I’d suggest checking out our Themer’s Guide, which will show you how to override any of our plugin templates (including widgets) to customize the appearance or content to suit your needs.

    I’ll also point out that we offer a full 30-day refund on purchases, so you can always go ahead and give the plugins a spin and email us for a refund with your original receipt if they don’t seem to fit what you’re looking for.

    Does this help answer your questions? Please let me know. 🙂

    Cheers!

    Hi there, Stacy! Thanks for getting in touch and sorry you’re running into some issues with the Image Widget plugin.

    We actually only support our premium plugins here in these forums and our team in here isn’t very familiar with that plugin to support you well. However, there is a Support forum for that plugin on WordPress.org here that I would recommend checking out to help look into the issue: https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/image-widget

    Sorry I am unable to help you directly here, but the link above should point you in the right direction. 🙂

    Thanks for confirming the answer, Jeroen! I really appreciate it. 🙂

    Yes, I believe that is referring to tickets for a single event. I can see how that would be confusing. :/

    Hey David, thanks for giving that option a shot.

    I’m really sorry, but looking into theme issues is something we’re unable to do because we lack the bandwidth to provide that level of custom support. If you’d prefer to work with a freelance developer instead of the theme author, we’d be happy to share a list of recommendations with you. Shoot an email to us at pro [at] tri.be and reference this thread and we’ll send that along.

    I’m going to go ahead and close this thread since we’ve covered the original question, but please feel free to hit us up with a new thread if any other questions pop up. We’d be happy to help. 🙂

    Great! Thanks so much for testing the default theme. I really appreciate it. 🙂

    That confirms that there is a conflict with the theme that is preventing the AJAX script from loading properly. You can try disabling the javascript option I mentioned previously (under Events > Settings). That will remove the script on our end but, if you want to clear it up in the theme, that’s something the theme author will need to help with. If the script works with a default WordPress theme, then there’s something that the theme is doing to create the conflict.

    Sorry I’m unable to give you a concrete answer to support the theme issue, but try disabling the option I mentioned above. If that helps, great! If not, I’d suggest contacting the theme author to explore options at the theme level.

    Cheers!

    Hey there, Jeroen! Nice to see you again. 🙂

    Unfortunately, setting a default ticket header is something that isn’t supported at this time. It’s a great idea, though! If you have a moment, it would be great if you shared it on our UserVoice page. We track popular ideas for new feature to include in new releases and I can see how a default ticket header would be useful for others as well.

    Does that help answer your question? Please let me know.

    Cheers!

    Hi there, Jeroen! Thanks for getting in touch. 🙂

    Short, but great question. The “Event Cost” (or “Evenementkosten”) column is actually tied to the “Event Cost” fields in the single event editing screen (screenshot). The part I bet that’s confusing is that those fields are replaced by the WooCommerce Tickets fields when that plugin is activated and has no relation to the WooCommerce Tickets information. That’s why the column is full of blank values for you, because it is not tied to the price of the tickets.

    You can remove the column by expanding the “Filters and & Columns” box at the top of the screen and removing the “Evenementkosten” option from the list of available columns.

    Does that help answer your question? Please let me know. 🙂

    Cheers!

    Hey there, David! Are you able to disable the option to “Use javascript to control date filtering” under Events > Settings? Uncheck that box, save the changes and let me know if you see any changes.

    If the issue persists, could you try temporarily activating the default Twenty Thirteen theme, to see if the issue happens there as well?

    If disabling the theme fixes it, that’s good news! It means we have narrowed the issue down to a theme conflict.

    Hi there, Guy! Welcome to the forums and thanks for the kind words. Sorry you’re running into some issues here, but hopefully I can help. 🙂

    Can you try setting the template for the calendar to “Default Events Template” (Events > Settings > Display) to see if that makes a difference? I want to narrow the issue down to see if it has something to do with the Canvas theme or your child theme.

    Give that a try and let me know what you find. 🙂

    Cheers!

    Hi there, David! Thanks for following up and sorry the snippet didn’t do the trick.

    One possible alternative is to hide the breadcrumb display on Events pages using CSS. For example, you could try something like this (you might need to play around with it a bit):

    .events-archive .breadcrumbs, .single-tribe_events .breadcrumbs {
    display: none;
    }

    Another alternative is to locate which theme file contains the breadcrumb and wrap it in PHP conditionals to either hide it from Events page or display “Events” there instead. For example, something that kind of looks like this:

    if( tribe_is_month() || tribe_is_upcoming() .... etc) {
    // have some code to display 'Events' in the breadcrumbs
    }

    Hopefully these options point you in the right direction. Since this is something that has to do with the theme, I would suggest contacting the theme author if you need more guidance when it comes to modifying the theme files.

    Thanks!

    Thanks for following up and sorry this is still an issue for you.

    Just to confirm, you are importing Events when running the importer, correct? There are other options to import Venues and Organizers (which both do not map websites), so I just want to make sure that’s what we’re working with.

    I created a set of test events in a CSV file that I was able to successfully import and map the websites to. You are free to download it (I’ll keep it posted for this conversation) to see if it works for you as well. If it does, then that will help confirm a formatting issue with the spreadsheet you’re using. If not, we may need to explore testing for other conflicts.

    Also, we released 3.8.1 for both TEC and PRO yesterday. Please update to the latest versions and see if that does anything to help resolve the issue.

    Give those a try and let me know what you find. 🙂

    Cheers!
