MemberHi there, Gabe! Thanks for getting in touch and the kind words about the plugin. 🙂
Good question. If you head over to Events > Events, then hover over the first event in the series, you will see an option to “Trash Series” (screenshot) which will allow you to bulk delete all the events in that recurring series.
Does this help answer your question? Please let me know.
Cheers!

MemberHey there, Alex! Welcome to the forums. 🙂
Interesting question. Currently, there is no way to associate the Events post type with another custom post type right out of the box. That’s something Posts2Posts or another plugin would have to accomplish, unless you want to take on that level of custom development.
Alternatively, you could use the additional fields feature (Events > Settings > Additional Fields) to create a field for the URL of the custom post type post you want to build a relationship with, then link to the custom post type post from the event post. Not exactly what you’re looking for, but it would certainly help you avoid having to do custom development.
Sorry I don’t have more of a concrete solution for you, but does this at least help answer your question? Please let me know. 🙂
Cheers!

MemberHi there, Eric! Thanks for getting in touch.
Good question. I see that the idea was posted to our UserVoice page and that the current status is Under Review. This means that we’re looking into the idea but have no plans yet to integrate it.
If this is something you’re interested in seeing released, I’d suggest adding your votes and even commenting on the request in a way that illustrates how you might see that feature working. The clearer an idea we have of what people are looking for, then the better we can see how to approach how that might work.
Does this help answer your question? Please let me know. 🙂
Cheers!

MemberYes, our support is here to help you troubleshoot bugs and help resolve issues in a timely manner. We outline the difference between bugs and customizations on the front page of our the forums as well as our terms of service.
If you’re looking for help with custom development, we’d be happy to send you some freelancers who can help. Otherwise, however, providing custom development here is the forums is outside the scope of what we provide here in the forums.
I hope this helps clarify things a bit. And, as I mentioned before, I’m happy to leave this thread open a while to see if anyone from the community is able to contribute a solution.
Cheers!

MemberNice work! Way to nail it down. 🙂
Here is a list of conditional statement examples you can use to target that script from not firing on specific calendar views.
Or perhaps, you can try wrapping that in a condition statement that excludes the script if the TribeEvents class exists:
if(class_exists('TribeEvents')) { ... }Cheers!

MemberHi there, Carl! Thanks for getting in touch.
I’m sorry, but we aren’t able to support this sort of custom development here in the forums. However, we do have the following resources available that you may find useful for hooking your custom taxonomy up to the calendar:
- Technical Docs: an overview of the plugin functions
- Themer’s Guide: an outline of how to customize the plugin templates and appearance
- Tutorials: a collection of tips and tricks for modifying the plugins beyond its standard functionality
If you’re looking for someone to help build this for you, send us an email to support [at] theeventscalendar.com and we’d be happy to share a list of freelancers who might be able to help. Alternatively, you might consider reaching out to the person who developed the first customization.
Sorry I don’t have a concrete solution here for you, but I hope this helps point you in the right direction. I’m also happy to leave this thread open a while to see if any members from the community have any tips to contribute.
Cheers!

MemberHello Gabe, thanks for getting in touch!
You can find that setting in the WordPress settings options, under Settings > General. There is a field called “Week Starts On” with a dropdown that allows you to select a day of the week (screenshot).
Does this help answer your question? Please let me know. 🙂
Cheers!

MemberHi there, Joshua! Thanks for getting in in touch and sorry you’re hitting some trouble here with the display order of events.
I definitely see what you’re describing: events are ordered chronologically on the main events page, but then change to reverse chronological on the subsequent pages. That’s definitely not expected behavior and I was unable to reproduce the issue locally on my setup.
First off, I do see the following error in the console:
You have included the Google Maps API multiple times on this page. This may cause unexpected errors. Are you able to dequeue the second Google Maps script from calendar pages? The Events Calendar already comes packages with it and adding it a second time can cause conflicts, and could possibly be at play in this case.
Secondly, I see you are using version 3.6.1 of the plugin. Are you using 3.6.1 for both The Events Calendar and The Events Calendar PRO? Make sure they are both running the same version number.
Lastly, if the issue still pops up, are you able to update to the latest version of the plugins? We’re currently on version 3.9.1 and it’s possible that any issue you’re having has been resolved in the latest version.
Let’s start with those three steps and see what we find. 🙂
Cheers!

MemberHow about using the post excerpt instead? That would allow you to write a sunmary for the event and drop it in to the email as well.
Cheers!
