ParticipantHello:
We are using the EC Pro plugin to run an Events section here:
http://www.jjtaylor.com/florida/events/On this main Event Listing page, Events are displayed as expected (chronological nearest date to farthest date).
However, when you navigate to Next (or Upcoming) Events (http://www.jjtaylor.com/florida/events/upcoming/?action=tribe_list&tribe_paged=2), the Events are shown in the reverse order than expected (i.e. farthest date to nearest date).
Is there a switch we missed, or perhaps a snippet to correct this behavior?

MemberHi there, Joshua! Thanks for getting in in touch and sorry you’re hitting some trouble here with the display order of events.
I definitely see what you’re describing: events are ordered chronologically on the main events page, but then change to reverse chronological on the subsequent pages. That’s definitely not expected behavior and I was unable to reproduce the issue locally on my setup.
First off, I do see the following error in the console:
You have included the Google Maps API multiple times on this page. This may cause unexpected errors. Are you able to dequeue the second Google Maps script from calendar pages? The Events Calendar already comes packages with it and adding it a second time can cause conflicts, and could possibly be at play in this case.
Secondly, I see you are using version 3.6.1 of the plugin. Are you using 3.6.1 for both The Events Calendar and The Events Calendar PRO? Make sure they are both running the same version number.
Lastly, if the issue still pops up, are you able to update to the latest version of the plugins? We’re currently on version 3.9.1 and it’s possible that any issue you’re having has been resolved in the latest version.
Let’s start with those three steps and see what we find. 🙂
Cheers!
