MemberYes, that’s exactly correct. Each license for a single-site install is $89 per license. So, that would be $89 + $89 = $178. In other words, roughly half the cost you would have paid with two Business-level licenses. 🙂
Cheers!

MemberJust to clarify: Event Rocket is an extension to The Events Calendar. In other words, there’s nothing new to learn–just features added to it. 🙂

MemberHi @markjuwm,
Thanks for getting in touch and excellent questions. I’m definitely happy to help you out here with renewals.
You’re right: the Developer license has since been discontinued and we now have four levels available:
- Personal – 1 site installation
- Business – 3 site installations
- Agency – 10 site installations
- Unlimited – as many installations as you would like
Since you had the Developer license before, then I think that either Business or Agency would closest to what you’re looking for. Let me know which one fits best and I would be happy to provide you with a discount that would match the proper renewal price for that specific license.
Thanks!

MemberHey Nickolas, nice to see you again!
The closest thing I’ve seen to that was that plugin you mentioned–but, yeah, looks like it’s gone.
Event Rocket is another one that has some great features built in–once of which allows you to clean up past events. I am not sure it does it on an automated basis, but it might be worth looking into.
Will that work for you? Please let me know. 🙂
Cheers!

MemberHi @Jen,
Good question. You can limit WordPress search to specific post types if you’d like. Here’s a blog post with a good example of how to do that with a snippet in your theme’s functions.php file. The example there will ensure that only Pages and Posts are returned in search.
Does this make sense? Will it work for you? Please let me know. 🙂
Cheers!

MemberNo worries! i’m happy to help. 🙂
There is a link called “My Events” at the top of the submission form that appears if someone is logged in and has saved events (screenshot).
Let me know if this helps!

MemberHey @Mathias and welcome to the forums! I hope you’ve been enjoying the plugins. 🙂
Good question. It probably would be possible to show a list of events based on the status of someone’s profile information (assuming they are logged in). However, it’s not something that is possible right out of the box. In other words, I think it would take a fair amount of custom development to make it work.
That said, Filter Bar will filter events based the distance of a searched location–it just isn’t pulled automatically from the user’s profile.
That’s a great idea though and one I’d certainly encourage you to submit to our feature request forum. I can see that one being voted on by others as it sounds cool.
Does this help answer your question? Please let me know. 🙂

MemberHi Mike,
Sure thing! The Edit link is in the list of that users saved events/drafts. Here’s a screenshot where it’s pointed out. 🙂
Cheers!

MemberI should add that you can add an Event List widget to an page with a registered sidebar area in WordPress. You can find the Event List widget in Appearance > Widgets.

MemberHi Marvin,
Good question and thanks for getting in touch.
Widget shortcodes are a feature in The Events Calendar PRO. In other words, the shortcodes are meant specifically for the widgets that come with PRO and need to have PRO installed in order to be used. WooCommerce Tickets unfortunately does not come with shortcodes of its own.
Sorry for the bad news, but does this help answer your question?
Thanks,
GeoffGeoff
MemberHi Decli,
Yes, you are correct: both plugins are separate and the front-end submission form is included in Community Events. I do want to note that PRO is not required to run Community Events–that will work right out of the box with the free version of The Events Calendar.
Also, just a heads up that $149 is the price for the Business-level license. A Personal license would be sufficient for a single client and that is $89.
Does this help answer your question? Please let me know.
Thanks,
GeoffGeoff
MemberHey Casey!
We are indeed working on and testing that plugin as we speak. 🙂
We are unfortunately past the period for taking beta testers. The good news is that the plugin is a high priority for us and we hope to have it out in a matter of time. I don’t have an exact date to offer, but it’s probably reasonable to gauge in weeks rather than months. In the meantime, you will be first to know about the release if you add your vote to the feature request, which will notify you with progress updates.
Cheers,
GeoffGeoff
MemberHi Gabe!
Switching is not something that is supported right out of the box, I’m afraid. I am sure it could be accomplished with some custom development, but that would something we wouldn’t be able to provide or support.
Sorry about that! But does this help answer your question? Please let me know.
Cheers,

MemberYes, there is indeed an Edit button on the front end and that directs the user to edit the event on the front end. Nothing takes place directly in the back end. 🙂
Does that help a bit more?
Thanks!
GeoffGeoff
MemberOh, gotcha! Thanks for clarifying.
Yes, it does look specifically at several variables:
- event name
- dates
- times
- venues
So, in other words, it is not looking specifically at the domain when performing its check, but for unique identifying features in the post type itself.
