MemberThanks Mary Kay, I can relate some days!
Can you go in to edit this page and show me what the venue area looks like?
Courtney
MemberI can’t make any promises, but we welcome suggestions at http://tribe.uservoice.com

MemberHi Tomas
I asked several others on our team to test the same issue out using Safari. They are reporting that they are able to load the page. Can you clear your cache in Safari and view in a New Private Window (File » New Private Window). This will prevent any extensions from conflicting.
Keep me posted on what you find.
Thanks

MemberOh… have you found our shortcodes? https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/embedding-calendar-views-tribe_events-shortcode/
[tribe_events view=”list” category=”barbecue”]
That is a way of displaying the whole calendar of just a specific category. It doesn’t really let the user flip between categories, but might be useful to input on a page dedicated to that category.
Thanks

MemberHi Mary Kay
Unfortunately I wasn’t able to receive your screenshot. You may need to visit this post on the forum to upload the screenshot of the editor for the event post.
Thanks

MemberThanks Mitchell
I’m sorry that you had to go through all of that. We are working on a fix so this doesn’t continue happening. We will update you with details when it is available.
Thanks

MemberHi Russel
The issues often are based upon how your theme designer has written the code for the site.
Start by modifying what you can at Appearance » Customize » The Events Calendar and let me know how that goes.
Thanks

MemberThanks Marguerite. I find most sites using it are usually offsetting the cost with the sales from events.

MemberHi Marguerite
Yes, they are separate products. We do include a standard search bar with Events Calendar Pro. You can see both options in place at http://wpshindig.com/events/. The top bar is the standard search, and the bottom bar is the Filter Bar.
Often the Filter Bar is best for those with a very large volume of events on their website.
Is there anything else I can help you with?
Thanks

MemberHi Martin
Wow – that’s around when I first became a user as well.
We do limit our shortcodes to pro users. You can see details about it and our widgets at
- https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/pro-widget-shortcodes/
- https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/embedding-calendar-views-tribe_events-shortcode/
We do not have a trial program, but we do offer 30 day refunds if you find the plugin does not meet your needs. It’s just a matter of submitting a refund request form at https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/refund-policy/.
Is there anything else I can help you with?
Thanks

MemberHi Russell
A few tips to help you get started are:
- Start by modifying what you can at Appearance » Customize » The Events Calendar.
- Typically, don’t change the theme or plugin’s css files, they will be overwritten on updates. To avoid this, follow the steps outlined in Themer’s Guide
- Use overriding CSS files, or add CSS to your site using Appearance » Customize » Additional CSS.
- Use !important before a semicolon to override every css rule. It’s a brute force method, but works for quick fixes.
- Please check out this Customizing WordPress #2 – Using Chrome Developers Tools YouTube video in addition to our Using Chrome Developer Tools tutorial on how to easily make changes using CSS.
Let me know how this goes please or if you need further help.
Thanks

MemberHello Oger
I’m sorry that I am unable to help you. We sell tools that businesses can use to list events and sell tickets. We do not actually sell festival tickets ourselves.
I hope you can find those seats!
Thanks

MemberHi Michael
If you are importing events from Facebook, you’ll want to reconnect that. It’s a quick process. Just head to Events » Settings » API » Connect to Facebook. The message will go away then.

MemberHello Henrik
We do offer a photo view with the Events Calendar Pro plugin. You can take a look at the demo of it at http://wpshindig.com/events/photo/. Using your theme’s settings, you can override how much of the WordPress Excerpt text displays on the photo view, or use some CSS to code that out. At this time, the photo view in desktop mode does limit itself to 3 columns.
Is there anything else I can answer for your?
Thanks

MemberHi Rachel
At this time, the Other URL Event Aggregator feature can import up to 3 months in the future. To do this, go to Events » Settings » Imports » Other URL Import Settings » Import date range.

Please let me know if this works for you.
Thanks
