MemberHey there Andrei
We do not directly integrate with IFTTT/Zapier. However, both of these have options that use custom post types. Our plugin is technically a custom post type called “events”.
https://codex.wordpress.org/Post_Types
Connecting with the general WordPress options will solve this. You can follow along with this tutorial to get started: https://theeventscalendar.com/automating-event-promotion-zapier/.
Does this help?
Thanks

MemberHi Christopher
Thanks so much for getting in touch! I’m afraid that we’re not equipped to provide technical support for current plugin users here in our pre-sales forum.
We don’t recommend modifying the plugin’s files. Instead, we suggest these tips:
- Start by modifying what you can at Appearance » Customize » The Events Calendar.
- We generally don’t recommend that you change the theme or plugin’s CSS files directly, as they will be overwritten. To avoid this, follow the steps outlined in Themer’s Guide
- Use overriding CSS files, or add CSS to your site using Appearance » Customize » Additional CSS.
- Use !important before a semicolon to override every css rule. It’s a brute force method, but works for quick fixes.
- Please check out this Customizing WordPress #2 – Using Chrome Developers Tools YouTube video in addition to our Using Chrome Developer Tools tutorial on how to easily make changes using CSS.
We’d be more than happy to assist you further at one of the following locations:
• If you’re using one or more of our free plugins such as The Events Calendar and Event Tickets, you can request assistance on the WordPress.org support forum for the affected product.
• If you’re a current license holder for one of our premium offerings, please log in to your account and submit a post to the appropriate forum for the affected product. Please include your System Info https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/sharing-sys-info/ so we can better help you.If you can, please take the time to confirm in your post that you’ve run through our Testing for Conflicts steps prior to contacting us–this will save us a step and help us to get your issue resolved that much quicker! 🙂
Thanks again, and we’ll see you in the forums!

MemberHi Lance & Diane
Can you add the following code to your child theme, or in Appearance » Customize » Additional CSS?
#tribe-events-content a, .tribe-events-event-meta a { text-decoration: underline; }Let me know if this works for you.
Is there anything else I can help you with?
Thanks

MemberHello Robert
I testing using just our plugins with Twenty Seventeen https://wordpress.org/themes/twentyseventeen/ and no other plugins activated and was still seeing the Buy Now buttons in list view.
Can you start by going through our Testing for Conflicts Guide https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/testing-for-conflicts/? I am wondering if you might have a plugin conflict.
We recommend conducting these tests on a staging server (https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/creating-using-wordpress-staging-site/).
Begin by deactivating all other plugins, using a theme such as Twenty Seventeen https://wordpress.org/themes/twentyseventeen/, and see if the issue still persists (not a child theme).
Also, double check for any other updates available (Dashboard » Updates).
Please let me know if the issue still persists after these tests.
Thanks

MemberHi Peter
If you aren’t finding the settings in Appearance » Customize, then it will require CSS editing.

- Please check out this Customizing WordPress #2 – Using Chrome Developers Tools YouTube video in addition to our Using Chrome Developer Tools tutorial on how to easily make changes using CSS.
For addititonal customizations, such as modifying the thumbnails of your events listing, you can start with our Themer’s Guide.
These are not options built in to our plugins beyond what you can find in the Customizer. If you think that is something you would like as a feature I encourage you to visit our User Voice Page and either upvote an existing request or make a new request there.
You can suggest it it http://tribe.uservoice.com.
If we release those features, we will update the UserVoice thread so you will be notified.
Thanks

MemberHi Jacob
Unfortunately, events deleted on Google Calendar will not automatically delete on your site. This is part of the constraints of the iCal format. Were all the duplicate issues related to deleting events in Google?
Thanks

MemberThanks @skmcnair – can you reach out to the Avada team and see if they have a solution.
@absl when you tested the Twenty Seventeen https://wordpress.org/themes/twentyseventeen/ theme, did you also have all other plugins except ours disabled? Thanks

MemberHi Peter
Events Calendar Pro does not add additional settings really. You can find many of our elements to edit in Appearance » Customize » The Events Calendar.
Can you elaborate more on the thumbnail?
Thanks

MemberHi Marvin
We do offer Calendar View Shortcodes and Widget Shortcodes. These shortcodes can be filtered to display a specific category. Would this meet your needs?
Is there anything else I can help you with?
Thanks

MemberHi Caro
Take a look at https://wpshindig.com/events/photo/. This is the photo view that comes with Events Calendar Pro. Is that the look you were referring to?
We do offer Calendar View Shortcodes and Widget Shortcodes. With these, you can embed a photo view onto another page/post besides the default /events page.
Does that help to clarify? Were you wanting a different part of the preview you shared?
Thanks

MemberHi Caro
Somehow I see this is a duplicate post. I’ll close this one out and answer you at https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/looking-for-a-widget-2/.

MemberHi Keshia
Community Events does allows user to submit events to the calendar. You can choose to allow them to automatically be published, or to save the posts as a draft so that you can preview them first.
You can also choose to restrict access to submit the form to logged in users if you’d like. Events » Settings » Community » Allow anonymous submissions.
Is there anything else I can help you with?
Thanks

MemberHi Mark
The standard WordPress export would be the easiest option to export events, venues, etc. and then import it into your site. However, this will carry with it old events. The one advantage of this is to avoid any broken links.
If you still want a way to only move upcoming events, I’d suggest using a tool like https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-all-export/ to export a .csv file of your events. You can then freely upload your .csv file to the new site.
If you happen to be purchasing Event Aggregator, I’d suggest simplifying all this instead by just using the “Other URL” option. You can just put the link to the old site into Events » Import » Other URL and it will fetch all the information needed. If you only intend to migrate site data and not import events in an ongoing manner, purchasing EA might be overkill though.
Let me know if any of these options work for you.
Thanks
Courtney 🙂 -
