Participantcudafunk,
Thanks for getting in touch! Our plugin uses standard WordPress custom post types for our Events, so you should be able to use WP_QUERY in order to see if any events exist in a category. Something like this should do the trick: https://gist.github.com/ckpicker/263c31e83d4a0f9a3f17Give that a try and let me know if that gets you started in the right direction. Thanks! π

Participantbeonair,
Thanks for getting in touch and sorry to hear you’re having trouble here, but hopefully I can help. I’m noticing that you have several template overrides in your theme directory (http://beonair.com/wp-content/themes/beonaircom/tribe-events/). Can you try renaming the ‘tribe-events’ folder to something else, in order to temporarily disable the overrides? If you’re upgrading from version 2, then I suspect that you have some outdated template overrides that are causing the problem.Give that a try and let me know what you discover. Thanks! π

Participanteightlane,
I believe that this is also due to the Google Maps API issue, since we’re using that for the location radius search. I would suggest resolving that issue first, and then we can troubleshoot if the location search still isn’t working after that. Thanks! π-Casey-

Participantnishantyagi,
Unfortunately I’m not familiar with the theme that you’re using, so your best bet would really to be to reach out to the theme developer. However, at first glance it looks like the styling for ‘.events-list li’ in dark.css is setting the width to 100%.Hopefully that gets you pointed in the right direction. Good luck! π

Participantnishantyagi,
Unfortunately, it looks like this particular theme doesn’t play nicely with our plugins. While I wish I could say that the plugin seamlessly integrates with every theme out there, the reality is that custom themes have so many settings/options that it would be nearly impossible for us to account for all of those.I would suggest that you reach out to the theme developer to see if they can offer you some guidance as to the CSS issues you’re experiencing. Hopefully that helps to point you in the right direction. Thanks! π

Participantnishantyagi,
Hereβs the problem. When I select βlistβ in the menu, something breaks somewhere.
URL β http://electranceindia.in/eventcal/upcoming/
Breaks in all 3 css templates.PS. Iβm using the free version for this theme to check and not WooTickets. Wootickets is on another wordpress theme β http://electranceindia.in/tickets/ .
Can you try changing your Events Template to the ‘Default Page Template’ in ‘Events->Settings->Display’ and see if that resolves the issue (screenshot)? Give that a shot and let me know if that does the trick. Thanks! π

Participanteightlane,
Thanks for getting in touch and sorry to hear you’re having trouble here, but hopefully I can help. I’m noticing that your single events page is displaying this javascript error: http://grab.by/wVlKIt looks like another plugin, or possibly your theme is already including a Google Maps API Key. Can you try deactivating all other plugins and reverting to the default 2013 theme to see if that resolves the issue? If so, then I would suggest reaching out to your theme developer (if your theme was indeed the culprit) and see if there’s a way to disable the Google Maps API key from being outputted on a page-by-page basis.
Give that a try and let me know if you have further questions. Thanks! π

ParticipantAJ,
Thanks for getting in touch! The Events Calendar doesn’t allow for user submissions by default, but the Community Add-on extends the calendar to allow for this functionality. You can also allow anonymous submissions from users that aren’t logged in using the add-on. Give that a shot and let me know if you have further questions. Thanks! π-Casey-

ParticipantAlejandro,
Thanks for getting in touch! Unfortunately our plugin doesn’t have the ability to limit the number of tickets based on the user’s email address. Our plugin allows the admin to set a limited number of tickets for each event, but not on a per-user basis. Thanks! π-Casey-

Participantccvbcalendar,
Thank for reaching out and sorry to hear you’re having trouble here, but hopefully I can help. I’m assuming you have ‘Allow Anonymous Submissions’ turned off in the Community Settings (screenshot), which requires users to register in order to submit events. If this is the case, then I would suggest looking into some third-party plugins that might offer some help with regards to blocking spam users from registering. Here’s a great blog post that talks about preventing spam registrations in WordPress: http://www.wpkube.com/wordpress-plugins-to-stop-registration-spam/
I’d also suggest searching around the WordPress.org support forums to see if other users have been successful in preventing spam registrations on their sites.
Hopefully that points you in the right direction, but let me know if you have further questions. Thanks! π

Participantnishantyagi,
Thanks for getting in touch and sorry to hear you’re having trouble here, but hopefully I can help. Due to our limited support team and the massive number of third-party themes out there, we can only provide support for CSS issues as they relate to the functionality of the plugin. In other words, if a CSS conflict is preventing the plugin from functioning correctly, we’ll definitely make sure to fix that. With that being said, can you give me an example (a URL or screenshot) of the issue that you’re having, so I can take a closer look? Thanks! π
