Thanks for getting in touch! While we’re unable to help with specific theme integration issues, you should be able change the background color of the Venue and Organizer sections by targeting the ‘.tribe-events-venue’ and ‘.tribe-events-organizer’ CSS classes. Try targeting those classes and let me know if that does the trick. Thanks! 🙂

Thanks for reaching out! We’re always happy to help, so let’s try to narrow down the issue by trying a few troubleshooting steps first. Can you try temporarily reverting to the default 2013 theme to see if this issue persists? It’s possible that this is a conflict with your theme, but just want to narrow it down a bit before troubleshooting further.

If that doesn’t seem to resolve the issue, could you try deactivating all other plugins to see if that fixes things? If so, then try reactivating them one-by-one to determine if another plugin is the culprit. Give that a try and let me know what you discover.

Thanks for getting in touch! You should be able to do this by utilizing the ‘tribe_set_the_meta_visibility’ function (look here for an explanation). In order to hide the Event Tags from the Event Meta, just paste the following code into your theme’s functions.php file: https://gist.github.com/ckpicker/756f9196e136705b2504

NOTE: we’re siginificantly reworking how Event Meta works in the next release, and will be doing away with the Meta Walker by default to keep customizations simpler. So, after updating to this future version, you’ll just need to perform a template override to re-hide the Event tags.

Thanks for getting in touch! It looks like the developer of that site has done some very impressive customizations using our plugin. You can do something similar without any customizations using our Filter Bar add-on.
