Google Map not working on event page

Hey the Google map is not showing up on individual event pages, we have checked to display the map and what’s showing up is an empty “box” where the map should display.

Any advice would be welcome.

Thanks for getting in touch and sorry to hear you’re having trouble here, but hopefully I can help. I’m noticing that your single events page is displaying this javascript error: http://grab.by/wVlK

It looks like another plugin, or possibly your theme is already including a Google Maps API Key. Can you try deactivating all other plugins and reverting to the default 2013 theme to see if that resolves the issue? If so, then I would suggest reaching out to your theme developer (if your theme was indeed the culprit) and see if there’s a way to disable the Google Maps API key from being outputted on a page-by-page basis.

Thanks for that, we are playing around using your advice. However we noticed another issue in that the actual location isn’t working:

When you type in a location it doesn’t show at all.

I believe that this is also due to the Google Maps API issue, since we’re using that for the location radius search. I would suggest resolving that issue first, and then we can troubleshoot if the location search still isn’t working after that. Thanks! 🙂
