ParticipantMichael,
Thanks for getting in touch. Let me address your questions here one at a time:- Yes, but you’ll need to make sure to deactivate the License Key for your old site if you want to continue to get automatic updates. You can do this on your License Keys page when you’re logged in.
- Unfortunately I’m not aware of other calendars that offer this.
- Each Event can have multiple tickets, and each ticket becomes a product in WooCommerce that you can manage.
Hopefully that helps to answer your questions, but let me know if I can help further. Thanks! 🙂

Participanthunterbrownrobertson,
It’s possible that your theme might doing something specific on certain pages that controls how widgets are displayed, and unfortunately, we can’t provide support for theme-specific issues such as this. I would suggest reaching out to the developer of your theme to see if they can help further. Thanks! 🙂-Casey-

Participantmosaicgc,
Thanks for getting in touch, and sorry to hear you’re having trouble here, but hopefully I can help. Sometimes issues can occur with plugins during the auto-update process, which might cause some files be missing or corrupt. I would suggest completely deleting the ‘the-events-calendar’ directory and re-installing the plugin. Your data should remain in-tact, but as always we suggest backing up your data and files before performing any updates.Once you reinstall and activate the plugin, just let me know if you’re still encountering this error. Thanks! 🙂

ParticipantIf you’d like to use a different page template for Community than the Events Calendar, try pasting the following code snippet into your theme’s functions.php file: https://gist.github.com/jazbek/6189599
Give that a try and let me know if it does the trick. Thanks! 🙂

Participantcairnslifestyle,
Since you’ve indeed confirmed that this is an issue specific to your theme, we’re unfortunately able to help here. I would suggest reaching out to the developer of your theme to see if they can offer some guidance. You might also take a look at this article, that explains how to change/preview CSS styling in the Google Chrome developer tools.With that being said, you could probably do something like this for the title field:
.events-community-post-title input {
border: 1px solid gray;
}
Thanks! 🙂

Participantadieball,
Thanks for getting in touch! Unfortunately our plugin doesn’t allow the entry of latitude / longitude fields for Venues, but you can enable this functionality by using a third-part plugin called Event Rocket. Since this is a third-party plugin, we unfortunately can’t provide any support for it should you encounter issues, but you can always reach out to them on the WordPress.org support forums.Give that a shot and let me know if you have any further questions. Thanks! 🙂

Participantlowtotheground,
Thanks for reaching out! While technically anything is possible if you know how to code, those items aren’t currently settings within the plugin.However, if you feel comfortable modifying some code, you can take a look at our themer’s guide which will show you how to override various template files in order to customize things.
Hopefully that will point you in the right direction, but let me know if you have further questions. Thanks! 🙂

ParticipantIt appears that your theme, or possibly another plugin, is adding ‘/*’ into your page source somehow and causing . Can you try deactivating all other plugins to see if that resolves the issue? If so, then try reactivating them one-by-one to determine if another plugin is the culprit. Give that a try and let me know what you discover. Thanks! 🙂

Participantlowtotheground,
Thanks for getting in touch! Yes, our plugin uses the ‘Week Start On’ WordPress setting to control this. To change this setting, just go to your WordPress dashboard and go to to Settings->General, and then change the value there (screenshot).Give that a try and let me know if you have further questions. Thanks! 🙂

Participanthunterbrownrobertson,
Thanks for getting in touch! The page template that the Community add-on uses is controlled in ‘Events->Settings->Display->Events Template’ (screenshot). Try changing that to your ‘Default Page Template’ to see if that fixes the issue. Thanks! 🙂-Casey-

Participantcairnslifestyle,
Thanks for getting in touch! Can you try temporarily reverting to the default 2013 theme to see if this issue persists? I suspect that this is an issue with your theme, but just want to narrow it down a bit before troubleshooting further. Thanks! 🙂-Casey-
