ParticipantDavid,
Have you tried deactivating all other plugins and reverting to the default 2011 theme to see if it’s working correctly? That will help us to narrow down where the issue is. Thanks.Casey
ParticipantDaniella,
This isn’t currently possible, however I’ll suggest this to our developers for a future version. Thanks for the suggestion!Casey
ParticipantYou should be able to use the following code to manually change the title if the user is on a Community Events Page using this code: https://gist.github.com/ckpicker/5119160
Let me know if that does the trick. Thanks!
Casey
ParticipantJust to confirm, you’re running version 2.0.11 of EC PRO, along with 1.0.5 of community. Correct?
Casey
ParticipantGreat! Thanks for confirming that this got you sorted. Unless you disagree, I’m going to mark this thread “Answered” and close it out.
We really appreciate your support and please let us know if you need anything else in the future. If you find yourself with a few minutes and would be so kind as to give us a “Works” rating or a positive star voting on the WordPress.org repo (http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/the-events-calendar/), or even a shoutout to your followers on Facebook or Twitter, it would mean a lot to us. Thanks again for using the plugin.

ParticipantBrandon,
After looking at this further, it looks like this is an issue with your theme not including jQuery properly. I’m seeing two version of jQuery being included in your site. Try the following and let me know if this fixes the issue:1) Remove all references to jQuery in your header.php and footer.php.
2) Add the following code to your functions.php: https://gist.github.com/ckpicker/5116597Let me know if that solves the problem. Thanks!

ParticipantHappy to help! Just let me know if you have further questions.

ParticipantBrandon,
Sure that works. Just send an email to pro (at) tri.be with ATTN:Casey. Thanks!Casey
ParticipantSorry to hear you’re having this issue. Could you give me a link to your ‘Submit Event’ page so I can take a look? Thanks!
Casey
ParticipantChris,
Unfortunately this is not possible. You could use a third-party service like EventBrite along with our EventBrite add-on to help you manage attendees.Let me know if that helps!

ParticipantBrandon,
Thanks for reaching out. There is no security around adding a venue to an event. You could always hide the ‘Venue’ dropdown (see this post), if you want to force your users to enter in the Venue information manually. The other option would be to require all Event Submissions be moderated by an admin before publishing to the site. Then the venue information could be verified first.
Let me know if that helps. Thanks!

ParticipantRich,
I’ve reported this issue to our developers, but I don’t have an estimate for when it might be addresses. So, your best bet at this time is to switch to another SEO plugin (like the one I mentioned above) that doesn’t have this conflict. Hope that helps. Thanks!Casey
ParticipantGreat! Glad to hear that you got everything resolved. Just let me know if you have further issues. Thanks again.
Casey
ParticipantVanessa,
Sorry to hear that you’re having these issues. Can you confirm a couple of things for me? Go into your Community settings (Events->Settings->Community) and let me know what the ‘Rewrite Slug’ is set to: http://d.pr/i/cHeHAlso, I’d like for you to try and update your Permalink settings. Go into WordPress Settings->Permalinks and click ‘Save Changes’ to refresh your settings.
Let me know if that helps at all. Thanks!
