ParticipantDaniella,
I wasn’t able to recreate this in my environment. Could you email me a username/password to your site so I could take a closer look?pro(at)tri.be
ATTN: CaseyThanks!
Casey
ParticipantDaniella,
Can you confirm that you’re running the latest version of the Events Calendar plugin (2.0.11) and Community (1.0.5)? Thanks!Casey
ParticipantAwesome! Thanks for confirming that this got you sorted. Unless you disagree, I’m going to mark this thread “Answered” and close it out.
We really appreciate your support and please let us know if you need anything else in the future. If you find yourself with a few minutes and would be so kind as to give us a “Works” rating or a positive star voting on the WordPress.org repo (http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/the-events-calendar/), or even a shoutout to your followers on Facebook or Twitter, it would mean a lot to us. Thanks again for using the plugin.
Casey
ParticipantJust disregard my previous question. 🙂
What value are you trying to put into the cost field?
Casey
ParticipantDaniella,
I’m assuming you have cost set up as a custom field?Casey
ParticipantTry this code instead and let me know if it does the trick: http://pastebin.com/DXuSxD30
Casey
ParticipantCould you also send me a screenshot of the custom fields as they appear on the back-end? I’m just double-checking that your field names in the code are EXACTLY as you’ve entered them on the back-end.
Casey
ParticipantClubbingpriest,
Can you paste all of the code that’s in your single.php file to pastebin so I can see what’s currently there?Casey
ParticipantAre you doing a template override of single.php?
I just want to make sure that this is not the single.php from your theme.
Casey
ParticipantJen,
You might look into your DNS settings with your host. I know that sometimes you need to set an option that specifies that you’re using an external mail host.Honestly, I won’t be much more help than that. I would contact your host for support as to why this might be.
Hope that helps!
Casey
ParticipantClubbingpriest,
Try something like this: http://pastebin.com/w0jpTZ87It’s basically just checking that the field is not empty before it outputs it.
Let me know if that does the trick!
Casey
ParticipantDavid,
Unfortunately, it’s not possible for us to support all third party themes. (You can read more about our policy here) But, we will definitely work with the theme developer if they’ve found a specific conflict that is caused by one of our plugins.I would suggest that you reach out to the developer of your theme for support, and let us know what they find.
Thanks, and let us know if we can be of further assistance.
Casey
ParticipantDavid,
After looking again, I’m seeing this javascript error on that page: http://d.pr/i/igdo. You might try disabling/removing that Twitter widget to see if that solves the problem.Just let me know if you need further assistance. Thanks!
Casey
ParticipantBduncan2184,
Yes, you should replace the existing title with that code I provided. Otherwise, you’ll have two titles displaying on that page. Let me know if that does the trick!Casey
Participantbduncan2184,
This should be in your theme’s page.php file. Every theme is different, so I’m not sure exactly where you should put that in your page.php, but look for some code that looks like this:https://gist.github.com/ckpicker/5120160
I hope that helps. Let me know if you’re able to get it fixed.
