ParticipantThanks for reaching out and sorry to hear you’re having this problem. The best solution would be to install a plugin that hides the ‘Admin’ bar for users with the Subscriber role.
A quick search pulled up this plugin for me: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/wp-admin-no-show/
Let me know if that accomplishes what you’re wanting. Thanks!

ParticipantYvonne,
I’m unable to duplicate this issue. Can you go view the event in the back-end and confirm that the recurrence is indeed set to every 2 days as shown? If so, could you try to replicate this issue again by submitting a ‘test’ event with the same information?
Just let me know if you’re able to. Thanks!
Casey
ParticipantGreat! Thanks for confirming that this got you sorted. Unless you disagree, I’m going to mark this thread “Answered” and close it out.
We really appreciate your support and please let us know if you need anything else in the future. If you find yourself with a few minutes and would be so kind as to give us a “Works” rating or a positive star voting on the WordPress.org repo (http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/the-events-calendar/), or even a shoutout to your followers on Facebook or Twitter, it would mean a lot to us. Thanks again for using the plugin.

ParticipantAgreed. It’s definitely a great feature idea, and one that I hope we can get into a future release. Of course I can’t make any promises that it will be accepted, but I’ve definitely proposed this as a feature for a future release. I’ll keep you posted.

ParticipantNick,
You’re right, this functionality never made it into the latest release of Community. I’ve proposed this to our developers as a feature for a future release of Community. Thanks for your input, and I’ll keep you updated on the status of this!Casey
ParticipantJulia,
If you look on line 1545 of tribe-community-events.class.php, you’ll find this code:
$this->message = __( 'Event submitted.', 'tribe-events-community' );
Just replace ‘Event submitted.’ with your own text.
Keep in mind that we don’t recommend editing plugin files directly, as any of your changes will be overwritten next time you update the plugin.
Let me know if that does the trick. Thanks!
Casey
ParticipantJulia,
Unfortunately there’s no easy way to update this text without either creating a new translation file, or actually editing the plugin.I hope that helps to answer your question, but let me know if you have further questions. Thanks!
Casey
ParticipantNick,
Let me ask our developers about this. Stand by.Casey
ParticipantNick,
In that case, you’ll need to do a Template Override on gridview.php and list.php.Then you can look for this code in both of those files: https://gist.github.com/ckpicker/5048414 and replace it with something like this: https://gist.github.com/ckpicker/5048425
Let me know if you need further help with this. Thanks!
Casey
Participantnickyb2013,
Thanks for using the plugin! Yes, you can add any HTML to the calendar by going to ‘Events->Settings->Template’ and adding your HTML into this field: http://d.pr/i/uMVBJust let me know if that does the trick. Thanks!

ParticipantJulia,
Thanks for reaching out and using the plugin! The Community add-on only enables the ability for users to submit/create events on your site.If you’d like to have recurring events, you will have to purchase a PRO license.
I hope that helps to answer your question, but let me know if you have further questions.
Thanks again for supporting the plugin!
