ParticipantThanks for confirming that this got you sorted. Unless you disagree, I’m going to mark this thread “Answered” and close it out.
We really appreciate your support and please let us know if you need anything else in the future. If you find yourself with a few minutes and would be so kind as to give us a “Works” rating or a positive star voting on the WordPress.org repo (http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/the-events-calendar/), or even a shoutout to your followers on Facebook or Twitter, it would mean a lot to us. Thanks again for using the plugin.

ParticipantTayls,
I think I’ve gotten you most of the way there. Unfortunately, #2 is not possible, but I think I’ve gotten you most of the way there with this code. Just paste it into your theme’s functions.php file: https://gist.github.com/ckpicker/6210942Just let me know if that gets you where you need to be. Thanks!

ParticipantSitnol – I’ve confirmed this latest bug also and will submit this to our developers to fix in the next release. Thanks!

ParticipantCarl,
One of our developers has come up with a workaround, so that you can specify which template Community should use. Paste the following code into your theme’s functions.php file: https://gist.github.com/jazbek/6189599Make sure to change the filename to the template you’d like to use. Let me know if that does the trick for you. Thanks!

ParticipantJamie,
Were you able to give my suggestions above a try? Just let me know if they worked for you. Thanks!Casey
ParticipantChris,
This is a known issue that we’re working on (see this thread). The workaround in the mean time is to set the new ‘Pending’ Venue to published before publishing the Event.Give that a try and let me know if that solves the problem for now. Thanks!
Casey
ParticipantLyne,
It seems like you resolved your own issue. Are you still having problems? Just let me know. Otherwise, I’ll go ahead and close this thread out. Thanks!Casey

ParticipantThanks for reaching out! I’d be glad to help with you this.
You can add some additional HTML content to the top of the login page, by adding the following code to your theme’s functions.php file: https://gist.github.com/ckpicker/6178608
Give that a shot and let me know if you have further questions. Thanks!

ParticipantCarl,
I’m seeing that page.php is hardcoded if you look in ‘plugins/the-events-calendar-community-events/lib/tribe-community-events.class.php’ on line 385 in the ‘addRoutes’ method.I’ve submitted a proposed feature to our developers to have Community use the same Page Template that TEC uses for consistency. I’ll keep you updated on the status of this.
In the mean time, I’ll see if one of our developers can create a workaround for you. Stay tuned…

ParticipantSitnol – that’s super helpful! Thanks for troubleshooting. I’ve submitted this to our developers for them to investigate further. I’ll let you know what they discover. Thanks again!

ParticipantCan you also check that the ‘Venue’ for that event is published?

ParticipantAlso, do you have Community set to require Admin approval for submitted events, or are they auto-published?
