ParticipantWegoecono – unfortunately the Media Uploader is disabled on the front-end for security reasons. However, if you have the Visual Editor enabled users can link to an external image in their Event Description using HTML.
Hopefully that helps. Thanks!

ParticipantCan you send me a private reply with a login to your site so I can take a look? Thanks!
Casey
ParticipantCan you check to see if an .htaccess file exists in the root of your WordPress installation? I’m guessing some of these error are related.
I would also enable WP_DEBUG in your wp-config.php file so we can see if there are any other hidden PHP errors that might be occurring (http://codex.wordpress.org/Debugging_in_WordPress).
Let me know when you’ve done that. Thanks!
Casey
ParticipantAlso, have you tried activating the default 2013 theme to see if this problem still persists? Give that a try so we can narrow down the cause. Thanks!
Casey
ParticipantDaniella – thanks for reaching out. Could you send me a private reply with a login so I can duplicate this functionality? I wasn’t able to duplicate this on Chrome in my testing environment. Thanks!
Casey
ParticipantSo sorry you’re having this issue. Hopefully I can help you out. Have you deactivated all other plugins (Except EC & EC Pro) before attempting to activate the Community Addon?

ParticipantMrsreeder, Since this doesn’t seem to be an issue with Community, I’m going to go ahead and move this thread over to the PRO forum and one of our support team members will help you there shortly. Please stand by.
Thanks!
Casey
ParticipantNo problem! Just let me know if you need anything else from us on this, or if we can go ahead and close this thread out.
Thanks!

ParticipantSo sorry, I thought I addressed that! The reason that the State dropdown isn’t hidden when a user selects a different country, is because your theme is causing Javascript errors.
If you switch to the default theme, it should work properly and the state dropdowns should change into a textbox when the user selects a different country like this:
Before: http://d.pr/i/p0YI
After selecting a different country: http://d.pr/i/42VT
Hope that helps!

ParticipantTony,
You should be able to do this by performing a template override and then modifying the appropriate files. To do this, just create the following new folder structure in your theme directory: ‘tribe-pro/community/’ and then copy over any of the plugin views that you’d like to override from ‘/wp-content/plugins/the-events-calendar-community-events/views/’.
The Recurrence display code is located in ‘view/modules/recurrence.php’, so you should be able to perform a template override on that file and modify the HTML markup as needed.
Let me know if that gets you started in the right direction. Thanks!

ParticipantMediamatix – Since everything appears to work with no issues using the Twenty Thirteen theme, I would suggest reaching out to theme developer to see if they have any insight as to why the Chosen Dropdowns aren’t working with your theme. We’re happy to assist the theme developer in making their theme compatible if they have any questions for us, but unfortunately we can’t provide support for every third party theme that’s out there (please read our policy on this).
Please let me know if you have further questions. Thanks!
Casey
ParticipantGreat! Thanks for posting this on here, as I’m sure it will help out some other users. I’m going to go ahead and mark this as answered and close it out.
Feel free to start another thread if you have further issues. Thanks!
Casey
ParticipantMediamatix – when you switch to the Twenty Thirteen theme, are you still seeing this issue?
Casey
ParticipantAwesome! Since you’ve gotten sorted this out, I’m going to mark this thread “Answered” and close it out.
We really appreciate your support and please let us know if you need anything else in the future. If you find yourself with a few minutes and would be so kind as to give us a “Works” rating or a positive star voting on the WordPress.org repo (http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/the-events-calendar/), or even a shoutout to your followers on Facebook or Twitter, it would mean a lot to us. Thanks again for using the plugin.

ParticipantHannu,
These are known issues and should be fixed in the latest version of the plugins, which is 3.1. Please update all of your Modern Tribe plugins to 3.1 and let me know if you’re still having this issue. Thanks! -
