Participantgian,
I logged into the site and everything looks good to me. If you’ve restricted Event Submission to logged in users, then they’ll see a login form similar to this (http://screencloud.net/v/nCDh) when going to your event submission page (http://www.browsevents.com/events/community/add).If you’re looking to create a login page for the users WooCommerce account, I believe you can do that in your WooCommerce Settings (WooCommerce->Settings->Pages). Unfortunately, if you need further support for the WooCommerce plugin, you’ll need to reach out to WooThemes for support.
Hope that helps! Thanks! 🙂

Participantgian,
Can you send me a private reply with an admin login, so I can see what you’re seeing? Thanks!Casey
Participantgian,
Do you have a login that you could send me via private reply so I can see what you’re seeing? Thanks! 🙂-Casey-

Participantalfemand,
Are you not able to go into Posts->Categories and manually edit/change the slugs there? Technically, it’s all right if your post category slugs are the same as your Event Category slugs because they are separate taxonomies. Thanks! 🙂-Casey-

ParticipantMelanie,
Are you referring to this page http://www.catalyticwomen.com/events/upcoming/ ? If so, it looks like you might need to try to update your permalinks to a different structure, other than the default. You can do this by going into your WordPress Settings and clicking on ‘Permalinks.’ Then select any option other than the default (I prefer month/name) and clicking ‘Save Changes’. After doing this, refresh your list page and see if that fixes the issue. If that doesn’t solve the issue, try deactivating all other plugins and then reactivating them one-by-one to see if there’s a conflicting plugin.
Give those suggestions a try and let me know what you discover. Thanks! 🙂

Participantalfemand,
Sorry to hear you’re having trouble hear, but hopefully I can help. I was just able to successfully create two new category (one post category and one event category) with the same name and slug in my test environment. Could you outline the steps you’re taking so I can attempt to recreate this in my environment? Thanks! 🙂-Casey-

Participantcatalyticwomen,
Thanks for reaching out! Could you send me a screenshot so I can investigate further? Thanks so much! 🙂-Casey-

Participantsitelockdesign,
Unfortunately, that’s all the help I can offer, as this is an issue with your third-party theme. I would reach out to your theme developer to see if there’s a way to disable some of the checkbox/dropdown javascript in the theme, as that would solve the problem. Good luck, and let me know if you have any further questions! Thanks! 🙂-Casey-

ParticipantGraeme,
I took a look with a subscriber user account, and verified that your Community settings were set correctly, but the admin bar was still displaying. I did notice that you have quite a few plugins installed. Could you try deactivating all other plugins to see if there’s a conflict, or if one of them is overriding the Community settings? If that doesn’t change anything, it’s possible your theme could be manually adding the admin bar also. If that’s the case, then give this tutorial a try to see if it removes the admin bar for non-admins: http://www.wpbeginner.com/wp-tutorials/how-to-disable-wordpress-admin-bar-for-all-users-except-administrators/
Just let me know what you discover. Thanks! 🙂

ParticipantGraeme,
It looks like you might have another plugin conflicting with Community that might be causing the Admin bar to display for all users. Could you try deactivating all other plugins and see if that resolves the issue? If you’re still unable to get the admin bar to disappear to Subscribers, then you could also try this approach to see if it resolves your issue: http://www.wpbeginner.com/wp-tutorials/how-to-disable-wordpress-admin-bar-for-all-users-except-administrators/
Thanks! 🙂

ParticipantGreat! Thanks for confirming that this got you sorted. Since it looks like you’re all set here, I’m going to mark this thread “Answered” and close it out.
By the way, if you have a minute or two, we would love it if you’d write a few words for us here: http://wordpress.org/support/view/plugin-reviews/the-events-calendar?filter=5
Thanks in advance. 🙂
Cheers,

Participantsitelockdesign,
Try replacing those two lines of javascript with the following code: https://gist.github.com/ckpicker/399de9c81d6bc4ceb7b7This should only output that javascript when users aren’t viewing any of the Community pages. Let me know if that does the trick. Thanks! 🙂
