ParticipantGreat! Thanks for confirming that this got you sorted. Since it looks like you’re all set, I’m going to mark this thread “Answered” and close it out.
By the way, if you have a minute or two, we would love it if you’d write a few words for us here: http://wordpress.org/support/view/plugin-reviews/the-events-calendar?filter=5
Thanks in advance. 🙂

April 2, 2014 at 7:10 am in reply to: How to : make Required Fields of 'organiser name' and 'organiser e-mail' #126777Casey
Participantkingconga,
Unfortunately those fields are a bit more complex to validate, and are beyond the scope of what we can help you implement here. If you don’t feel comfortable implementing something like this, then as a workaround I would suggest setting your Default Organizer values (Events->Settings->Default Content) to a Desired Organizer that you’ve created.Hopefully that helps to point you in the right direction. Thanks! 🙂

ParticipantMichelle,
Since you mentioned that emails were previously working for you, can you remember if you installed another plugin that might be conflicting? Can you try deactivating all other plugins to see if that resolves the issue? If so, then try reactivating them one-by-one to determine if another plugin is the culprit. Give that a try and let me know what you discover. Thanks! 🙂

April 2, 2014 at 7:00 am in reply to: Plugin updated CSS – now header footer won't show in the showcase elements #126767Casey
Participantlvnilesh,
We’ve just released a hotfix (v 3.5.1) which should fix this issue. Would you go ahead and update and let us know if you’re still having problems here? Thanks! 🙂-Casey-
Casey
ParticipantLars,
It looks like the Event ID is getting passed using a different variable name in the new tooltips.php file, so this code should work for you:
<?php echo tribe_get_organizer($event_id); ?>
Give that a shot and let me know if it does the trick. Thanks! 🙂

ParticipantWe just recently release a hotfix (v 3.5.1) which should fix the issue that you all have reported. Please update the plugin and report back here to let us know if your issues were resolved. Thanks! 🙂

Casey
ParticipantMartin,
Unfortunately the all-day Event issue you described was not fixed in this latest hotfix. We’ve created a bug ticket for the issue, and the issue should be fixed in the next scheduled release of the plugin. We’ll reply back to you here when we’ve got a fix in place. Thanks! 🙂-Casey-

ParticipantDan,
You’ll need to make sure that he’s adding the appropriate dynamic classes that are coming from WordPress (screenshot), which I’m not seeing in the code you shared. Have him add those declarations, and see if that fixes the issue. Thanks! 🙂-Casey-

ParticipantLars,
You’ll definitely want to make sure that you’ve updated your tooltips template files since upgrading to vesion 3.5, as we’ve made a lot of changes with how the tooltip templating functions. That might help to address your issue. Thanks! 🙂-Casey-

Participantwhirlmagazine,
Your developer will just need to make sure that he includes the ‘%2$s’ in the ‘class’ declaration in before_widget (screenshot). This is where WordPress automatically adds classes for each widget, and is best practices for theme development. Thanks! 🙂-Casey-
April 2, 2014 at 6:35 am in reply to: Large set of reoccurring events on 3.5 upgrade – wp-admin won't load. #126741Casey
ParticipantMarco,
From our developer:the update process is timing out (since we’ve re-worked how recurring events function), but we make it more robust so that, when it does time out, the user can just refresh the admin several times until it finishes.
Our developer has provided a patch that we’d like for you to test out in your local environment to see if it resolves the issues you’re having. Just replace events-pro/lib/tribeeventspro-schemaupdater.php with this file then try refreshing your admin several (possibly many) times to see if the issue goes away.
Please respond back here as soon as you’ve had a chance to test this out, as we’ll be pushing out a hotfix ASAP. Thanks! 🙂
