Participantgohwebmaster,
From our developer:the update process is timing out (since we’ve re-worked how recurring events function), but we make it more robust so that, when it does time out, the user can just refresh the admin several times until it finishes.
Our developer has provided a patch that we’d like for you to test out in your local environment to see if it resolves the issues you’re having. Just replace events-pro/lib/tribeeventspro-schemaupdater.php with this file then try refreshing your admin several (possibly many) times to see if the issue goes away.
Please respond back here as soon as you’ve had a chance to test this out, as we’ll be pushing out a hotfix ASAP. Thanks! 🙂

ParticipantIt’s possible that IE9 handles some javascript functionality differently than IE10 and IE11, which is why it might not scroll down automatically to your first event. Since this isn’t a critical issue, I would just encourage users to upgrade to the latest browser version (for security reasons, if nothing else!) in order to experience your site properly.
Thanks! 🙂

Participantbrickmarketing,
Thanks for reaching out and sorry to hear you’re having trouble here, but hopefully I can help. This issue is happening because you’re including jQuery twice in your theme (screenshot). Make sure that you’re only including jQuery once and that should resolve any issues you have. Thanks! 🙂-Casey-

Participantagencydominion,
Thanks for reaching out! I’m not very familiar with the Yoast SEO plugin, but I would reach out to the developer and see if there’s a way to disable the SEO meta from being added for certain post types (Organizer and Venue in this case). Give that a shot and then let me know if we can help further. Thanks! 🙂

Participantclrader,
Can you try temporarily reverting to the default 2013 theme to see if this issue persists? I suspect that this is an issue with your theme, but just want to narrow it down a bit before troubleshooting further. Thanks! 🙂-Casey-

Participanthcfsidney,
Thanks for reaching out and sorry to hear you’re having trouble here, but hopefully I can help. With the release of version 3.5, we introduced a lot of the changes to the template files, including responsive, mobile-friendly layouts. Because of this, any customizations you’ve made to the template files will need to be updated in order to resolve these issues.I noticed that you’ve performed some template overrides in your theme (http://hcfsidney.ca/wp-content/themes/Webly-Child/tribe-events/), which are probably the culprit of these layout issues that you’re experiencing.
Try updating (or temporarily disabling) your template file overrides and see if that fixes the issue. Thanks! 🙂

Participantbluepixeldesign,
Thanks for getting in touch! You should be able to make any customizations to the widget that you’d like by performing a template override as described in our themer’s guide. You should be looking to override the appropriate template files in ‘views/pro/widgets/’.Regarding changing the ‘View all Events in Category’ text, you should be able to modify that by pasting the following snippet into your theme’s functions.php file: https://gist.github.com/ckpicker/9933505
Hopefully that gets you started in the right direction, in order to make these customizations. Good luck! Thanks! 🙂

Participantmending,
Sorry to hear you’re having trouble here, but hopefully I can help. We typically provide support for browser compatibility issues up to two versions back, so that would mean IE9 and above in this case. In your screenshots, IE9+ looks like everything is displaying correctly for me. You might not be seeing your events in the screenshot, because they don’t start until 9:30 am.I hope that helps to answer your questions. Thanks! 🙂

Participantclrader,
Thanks for getting in touch, and sorry to hear you’re having trouble here, but hopefully I can help. Can you send me a URL or screenshot of the issue you’re describing? After viewing your calendar, I was unable to see the issue you’re describing here. Thanks! 🙂-Casey-

ParticipantThis looks like a specific issue with how your theme implements the Header menu for items that have a child element. You might need to create a parent element with two child elements in order to get your desired effect. Something like this:
-Calendar
–Events
–Submit an EventGood luck! 🙂

Participantmamalm,
Unfortunately if you’re not familiar with PHP or coding, then you’re going to find making these customizations very difficult, and you might consider getting a developer involved to assist. Due to our limited support staff, support for customizations is outside the scope of what we can offer. However, the themer’s guide along with the template overview will get you started with determining what template files you’ll need to override in order to make your customizations.
I’d be happy to answer any specific questions you might have about how the plugin works, or specific questions about what file to edit for specific changes. Thanks! 🙂

Participantmending,
If this is something you’d like to see in a future release, I would suggest submitting it as an idea on our UserVoice page. Our team periodically reviews the most popular ideas for possible inclusion in a future release of the plugin. Thanks! 🙂-Casey-

ParticipantBob,
I’m definitely seeing this issue in your environment (even after deactivating all plugins and switching to the 2014 theme), but I’m unable to replicate this issue in my local environment. Can you try replicating this with a fresh install of WordPress and an empty database? I’m wondering if this has something to do with some errant data in your database. If the issue still persists, can you try testing locally or on a different server? That will help us to rule out your webhost’s server config also.
Give that a shot and let me know if the issue still persists. Thanks! 🙂

ParticipantI’m currently seeing your calendar here: http://cornerecho.com/events/ You’ll need to add a link to your theme’s menu (Appearance->Menu) in order for users to access the page.
Hope that helps! Thanks! 🙂
