ParticipantSince updating to the new event cal pro all of my formatting is a disaster. Your new meta data ideas are now under the event content, and I cant figure out how to reorder them ( Organizer before Venue as an example), remove certain metas ( like google calendar, ical import). Also I would like to make the meta data display as TWO colums as it was originally. I have looked at the TRIBE META WALKER: AN OVERVIEW and it really doesn’t mention were and what files to edit. This was much simpler before the update. Also I can only use the Skeleton Mode with the calendar now because no matter what template I use (event, default, full width,….etc) the calendar runs off the page to the right when I choose full style or Tribe Event Styles. Yes the only one that properly formats on the page is Skeleton, no matter what Events template I use. I am using a woo theme and am surprised this happens.

Participantmamalm,
Sorry to hear you’re having trouble here, but hopefully I can point you in the right direction. Your best plan of attack is to take a look at our Themer’s Guide to help you understand how to perform template overrides and customizations such as the ones you’re wanting here.Hopefully that helps to get you started, but let me know if you have further questions about how the plugins works, or what specific files to edit for some of these customizations.
Thanks! 🙂

ParticipantThe reason I wrote such a long comment and was very specific in it was with the intentions I could get some help from you, not be redirected to another page. Does your THEMER’S GUIDE cover META DATA? That is what the TRIBE META WALKER: AN OVERVIEW was for and the answers in that article are just perplexing.

Participantmamalm,
Unfortunately if you’re not familiar with PHP or coding, then you’re going to find making these customizations very difficult, and you might consider getting a developer involved to assist. Due to our limited support staff, support for customizations is outside the scope of what we can offer. However, the themer’s guide along with the template overview will get you started with determining what template files you’ll need to override in order to make your customizations.
I’d be happy to answer any specific questions you might have about how the plugin works, or specific questions about what file to edit for specific changes. Thanks! 🙂

ParticipantMeta Data is not covered in these sections

Participantmamalm,
The third video on the template overview directly covers the Meta Walker and code files involved. Unfortunately, we can’t provide support for customizations beyond answering questions about what is in our documentation and other tutorials. If you have specific questions about anything contained in there, I’d definitely be happy to answer those. Thanks! 🙂

ParticipantI just wanted to follow up and see if you’re all set here or if you still have further questions. Just let me know if you have further questions or if I should go ahead and close out this thread. Thanks! 🙂
