Participantcustommods,
Thanks for getting in touch! You can definitely hide them via CSS if you’d like, but another option is to perform a template override on single-event.php and remove the references to ‘tribe_the_prev_event_link’ and ‘tribe_the_next_event_link’. If you don’t know how to perform a template override, you can take a look at our themer’s guide, which has great instructions on how to do this.Give that a shot and let me know if it gets you pointed in the right direction. Thanks! π

Participantmeridianagency,
Thanks for getting in touch and sorry to hear you’re having trouble here, but hopefully I can help. This is typically due to your theme not properly using the ‘before_widget’ param when declaring a sidebar. Take a look at @brook’s reply here and let me know if it solves the problem for you. Thanks! π

Participantsfbike,
Thanks for getting in touch! You’ll want to override the List template (take a look at our themer’s guide if you’re not familiar with how to do this) and use the tribe_get_custom_field function to retrieve the specific custom field that you’re looking for.Hopefully that gets you pointed in the right direction, but let me know if you have further questions. Thanks! π

Participantspringarboru,
Thanks for getting in touch, and sorry to hear you’re having trouble here, but hopefully I can help. After a quick glance, I’m not seeing anything that looks alerting regarding your query. Is your site hosted on WPEngine by any chance? I know that they (and some other hosts) are doing some specific things related to long queries (see this article), so I would recommend reaching out to your host to see if they can advise further or turn off those warnings.
I hope that helps, but let me know if you have further questions here. Thanks! π

Participantstarfiresports,
Have you tried a different permalink structure, just to see if that’s what might be causing problems? I just want to try to narrow down what might be causing issues here, so give that a try and let me know if it has any impact. Thanks!mkarsenti,
If your issue is the same as the above please do feel free to monitor this thread, but if you need assistance for your own specific scenario it would be great if you could create a fresh thread of your own. Thanks!-Casey-

ParticipantKris,
I’m really sorry to hear that, but alas, not all hosts are created equal. Can I ask what host you’re using? I can definitely give you some recommendations for other hosts that I’ve personally had great success with if you’re interested. Just let me know if I can help further here. Thanks! π-Casey-

Participantsfbike,
Thanks for checking back in. We’ve ticketed this item for our developers to investigate further, but unfortunately I don’t have an ETA on when this issue will be addressed. I’ll continue to leave this thread open, and will notify you here as soon as I have some kind of ETA. In the mean time, since this is a very unique scenario, hopefully not many of your users are encountering this issue.Again, thanks for reaching out here, and I’ll definitely let you know as soon I have an update for you. Thanks! π

ParticipantGreat! Thanks for confirming that this got you sorted. Since it looks like you’re all set, I’m going to mark this thread “Answered” and close it out.
By the way, if you have a minute or two, we would love it if you’d write a few words for us here: http://wordpress.org/support/view/plugin-reviews/the-events-calendar?filter=5
Thanks in advance. π
Cheers,

ParticipantRoque,
Can you try deleting those “problem” events and re-creating them to see if that resolves the issue?Casey
Participantkip,
I’m definitely sorry for the inconvenience here. I’m just trying to take as many variables out of the equation as possible and get to the bottom of the issue, so we can work towards a resolution. Please let me know if there’s any other help I can offer here, or if you have further updates as you’re able to carve out time for further troubleshooting. Thanks! π
