ParticipantThanks for reporting the incomplete translation Andreas. Fortunately one of our German Translators had also caught it and submitted a patch for our next release. Cheers!

ParticipantHowdy Andreas,
Thank you for the bug report. I apologize that you felt the need to open two topics. Our translation forums are not monitored as frequently as our support ones, so topics here frequently get responses a little slower.
That issue is fixed in our upcoming 3.10 release. Thank you for taking the time to report it!
Cheers!

ParticipantHello Luciane,
I am taking over for Geoff.
Those strings are not translated in the latest versions of Community, unfortunately. IÂ realize that you are seeing similar ones in your .po and .mo files, but they are not the actual strings. You are likely seeing a translation for “Cost” not the latest “Cost:”. Unfortunately even minor changes like that impact things.
Would you like to update the translation? You can do this by following the guide Geoff linked in his first response. One important step will be updating from the latest .pot file, which will show you the strings that need translating. If you share the updated pt_BR.po file with the community here, we will give you a free license to the plugin of your choosing. 🙂
Does that all make sense? Does it fully answer you questions? Cheers!

ParticipantHowdy origininspired,
That’s a good idea. If you would like to publish your idea so that folks can vote their support for it, check out the feature suggestion page.
will I need to readd that every time I update my theme? I’m only semi-technical, so not 100% sure.
Good question. You probably will. However, WP has a great feature and tutorial for this dillema. The feature is called child theme (click here for tutorial). You can create a child of a theme containing any modifications you want to make to the theme. When you update the parent theme, the child will not lose its modifications.
Does that all make sense?
Cheers!

ParticipantThat is incredible! Thank you. I removed the account credentials from your post after making a note of them. I am able to log in and see the issue.
Before changing any setting on a customers site I do need to double check with my manager that he approves it. But I will do that as soon as he is available tomorrow.

ParticipantThat is a very interesting detail. Thank you for testing the plugin conflict.
Are you able to provide me with a working link to your website, perhaps the specific event that you have imported?
On Tuesday I inquired of our entire support team to see if any one of them had come across this problem before. No one has seen a customer with something similar that they can recall. I of course also have not, and save for Barry I have been working with our plugins longer than any other support person. This is truly a puzzling issue that appears to be quite unique. Still, I want to help you find a solution. If I can investigate the site, and perhaps log in to the Admin, I might be able to uncover more information.

ParticipantI don’t know exactly but it is at least on year ago when I create the Facebook API ID
Thank you, that is very helpful to know. If it was in the last 2-3 months there might have been a possibility it was a different problem. But this completely rules out that possibility.
I can’t believe that the “mass import” is the reason for the problems. I try also import only one event and the same error occur.
I need to give you a little backstory. You have 27 Facebook Groups setup to automatically import in WP Admin > Events > Settings > Facebook. When you visit the Import: Facebook page, we must query all 27 of those groups. It’s a very lengthy query. Basically, because of all of those groups every import you do is a mass import. Even if you only type one event in for the manual import, the plugin still has to run a query for all 27 groups, which returns over 100 events!
I just deleted that event form my system, and the venue, then emptied both trashes. I recreated your exact settings and reimported https://www.facebook.com/events/1562096517378412/. It worked exactly as expected, the venue was created and so forth.
This really leaves two possibilities:
- You are suffering from a plugin conflict. If you were to delete that event from your database, empty the trash. Then head over to your venues and delete an empty venues that have no events in them, and empty the venue trash. Then follow this guide test if there is a conflict. We could determine if this is the cause.
- You could be facing a resource limit problem due to the amount of Facebook Groups you have setup to auto import. Do you need all of those groups? It appears to me that some of them are not even valid groups. The fewer you have, particularly fewer invalid ones, the better. Your site will run faster and it may even fix some glitches.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
