Brian
MemberHi,
The Visual Editor and Text Editor Switching is working for me now.
I visited a single event and see what you mean about the Facebook Comments.
Comments
I think the comments in your theme are coming after the content field (visual editor) and so it places them there. The only way to resolve this would be to remove the action in your theme on the single events that places the comment box there and then add a new action to place it under the Event Details.
I am not sure what that action would be in your theme, can you contact the theme developer if they have something setup to move the comments?
If they provide that coding I can help target it just on single Events Pages.
Let me know.
Thanks
Brian
MemberI am glad to see you were able to fix this issue.
Since the issue is resolved I am going to go ahead and close this ticket. If you have a similar issue or another in the future, please do not hesitate to create a new ticket.
Thanks!

MemberHi,
It sounds like it was just a temporary glitch on the server or the site. I have not run into this before. If it comes up and we can see the issue happening then we could take a look, but for now there is not much I can suggest on the cause of this.
Cheers

MemberHi Paul,
It is best if you create a new thread when asking questions as we can help you one on one that way and it keeps topics to one issue.
I do not have an example of a site with 1000 upcoming events. The biggest performance issue is with Month View and having a large amount of events to load there. The performance depending on your server, caching, and amount of events you enable per day.
Since the month view is included in the core version of the Events Calendar found for free on WordPress.org: https://wordpress.org/plugins/the-events-calendar/
You can test it out there.
The plugin loads it’s resources only on the Events Views, the Single Events, and the use of the widgets or the widget shortcodes in Pro.
And finally we do not have a feature to display a map of events like that on the home page.
Cheers.

MemberHi,
If you deactivate that plugin it should stop the error.
Thanks

MemberHi,
Sorry for the issues you are having.
The events menu has not been moved in the dashboard.
I am not seen any other reports of this.
Can you confirm both The Events Calendar and The Events Calendar Pro are active and they have the same version.
If they do and you are still having an issue please go through our testing for conflicts guide to see if that help narrow down the cause:
Let me know what you find out.
Thanks

MemberHi,
Sorry for the issue you had with this. I can try to help out.
So both widgets broke on the site and then the next day they seemed to be working again?
Do you have any caching on the sites that might cause it? Could it have been a bad cache?
I visited the site you provided the link for and it looked to be working.
What exactly was not displaying correctly?
Let me know.
Thanks
Brian
MemberHi,
Thanks for using the Events Calendar.
Here on the pre-sales forum, I’m afraid we do not provide technical support. I would ask that you take any technical support questions across to our wordpress.org forum – our staff scan it periodically and other community members may also be able to help out.
Having said that, the events should show for today.
Please check your Timezone setting in WordPress.
Also, I would look at the time setting of your localhost setup and confirm it is correct.
Thanks again!

MemberHi Chris,
Sorry for the issues you are having. I can help troubleshoot this, but I might not be able to fix the coding if it is in the theme.
It sounds like a php fatal error is causing this when all three are active.
Can you please follow the section of the WordPress Codex Debug titled “Example wp-config.php for Debugging” on this page:
http://codex.wordpress.org/Debugging_in_WordPress
Please add that coding to your wp-config.php file.
Then try to active the theme and check the debug.log file after that to see what is placed in there.
Let me know what you find out.
Thanks
Brian
MemberHi,
Thanks for the interest in our plugins.
I do not believe our plugin works the way you would like. Everything is built around order events by dates so we do not have any features you describe.
You can try the core version of the Events Calendar found for free on WordPress.org: https://wordpress.org/plugins/the-events-calendar/
And see if it will work for you.
Thanks
Brian

Having said that I would try changing the have you tried changing the Events Template in the settings.
Head to this page:
Events > Settings > Display Tab
Then change this setting:
Events Template to Default Page Template
Thanks again!

MemberHi,
Thanks for the link.
I just took a look and see this javascript error in the console:
ReferenceError: sf_plugin_url is not defined
http://www.greaterpatchogue.com/wp-content/plugins/spider-facebook/elements/editor_plugin.js?wp-mce-4109-20150505
Line 19Please fix that error in the Spider Facebook Plugin and let us know and we can take another look.
As long as there is a javascript error there will be issues with the Visual Editor on the Front End.
Thanks
Brian
MemberHi Pablo,
Since you have asked for a refund I am closing this ticket.
However, the issues you are asking for are beyond the support we can provide and do require coding knowledge.
As much as we would like we cannot provide step by step instructions as you would like as it would be unique for each person.
Cheers
Brian
MemberHi,
I would delete that snippet that was a temporary fix as the 3.10.1 update fixes that. If with the 3.10.1 update you see this issue or anything else come back please let us know.
Michael if the issue is Eventbrite and you are not able to change time you will have to contact them.
The 3.10.1 update has been tested and we believe resolves the times changing in Eventbrite and in WordPress and they should stay correct now when making updates.
Since nthomas issue is resolved. I am going to close this ticket, but if you need anything else related to this topic or another please post a new topic on the forum and we can help you out.
Thanks
