ParticipantI would say that it’s pretty high up in the queue for an upcoming WooCommerce Tickets release. It’s hard to say about WPEC Tickets because it’s such a new plugin for us, so probably would appear there sometime after.
I’ll definitely prod the dev team for you! π

ParticipantHi, sportstudio. Thanks for the explanation. I understand what you’re getting at.
EDD Tickets does have that functionality built in through the EDD “Purchase Short Code” functionality. It would deifnitely be possible to build for our other Ticket plugins, but I don’t know of any others that for sure have them baked in at present.
Does that help?

ParticipantHi, Shawn. It looks like the Ticket header image isn’t designed to be set up as the Woo Products featured image, so that’s why it’s not happening. If you’d like to add this as a feature request, we’d be grateful if you would suggest it on our User Voice page: https://tribe.uservoice.com/
Thanks! π

ParticipantWell, I’m glad to hear that it’s there. Sounds like maybe a caching issue?
You can see the plugins in action on wpshindig.com, but that won’t allow you to access the backend. We do have screenshots on the various plugin product pages.
Is there anything else I can help you with at the moment?
Kelly
ParticipantMy pleasure, David. In your case, we could definitely refund the first plugin so you could rebuy the other. Please be aware though, that you would no longer get support or updates for the refunded plugin.
Would that work for you?
December 16, 2013 at 8:50 am in reply to: Event time from AM to PM in Eventbrite = default time in WordPress #81887Kelly
ParticipantHi, wallacks. Thanks for the further explanation.
If you can give me the Eventbrite ID for the event I can give it a shot, but without knowing if the issue is still extent with a known set of parameters (2012 theme and only TEC and EBTickets activated), it will be difficult for us to replicate.
One thing to check, the Eventbrite API can be fussy about named time zones in your WP settings. You might try changing to a UTC+/-# and seeing if that changes anything.
Thanks!
Kelly
ParticipantGreat question, Chris. That is surprising.
Have you tried our normal troubleshooting step of changing to a default WP Theme like Twenty Twelve and deactivating all other plugins? If so, did that change the behavior?

ParticipantGreat question, Shawn! π I’m not sure about the image, so let me do some checking about that.
For changing the visibility setting by default, these two threads may prove helpful:
How to make WooCommerce tickets appear in WooCommerce shop page?
Hope that gets you started! π

ParticipantHi, wallacks. Great question!
That does sound odd, indeed. Would you mind reiterating your message above, because I don’t see a time change listed, but I believe that you’re intending to show that WP/TEC is changing the time listed on the event.
A couple of questions: Which versions of WP and TEC/Eventbrite Tickets are you running? Have you had a chance to try this with a default WP theme and all other plugins deactivated? If so, what were the results?
Thanks! π

ParticipantHi, spotstudio. I’ve spoken to our devs, and they had a question for you. What exactly are you looking to do with this button? How is it different than the one that’s already in the ticket box?
I can check into WPEC Tickets. I do know that EDD Tickets offers a shortcode-based buy button that may fit your needs. π

ParticipantHi, hinselscott. You ask a great question! π
Our Themer’s Guide could definitely use a little TLC, but the answer is in there! π The files you’re looking for are under the heading “Ticketing Plugins”. That will help you find the files in your existing plugin structure and show you where to put the overrides so they won’t be overwritten by future updates. Our Technical Documentation, also linked in the right sidebar, will be useful to you if you’re looking for explanations of a more nitty gritty nature.
Does that help a little?
