ParticipantHi, Quentin. Great question!
All the tickets are set up as part of the Tickets category in WooCommerce. Will that help you at all?
Kelly
ParticipantHi, drhoo. Excellent question!
If you’re looking to create a custom roles, we have an FAQ about what options are available for our plugins: https://theeventscalendar.com/faqs/what-plugin-capabilities-are-there-for-creating-custom-roles/
Does that help?
Kelly
ParticipantHad a chance to hear from our dev team. The basic upshot is that tickets and orders are different entities, and hence they have different IDs.
The best way to visualize this: You can have multiple tickets in a single order.Hope that helps! 🙂

ParticipantThanks so much for your kind words, Vera. Please let us know if anything else comes up! 🙂
Happy holidays!

ParticipantHi, Laura. Thanks for inquiring about this forthcoming product! 🙂
Though the beta concluded some time ago, we are still a little ways out from the Filters Bar launch. Once it’s live, you’ll be able to find it in the products section of our site.
Thanks for your interest! 🙂

ParticipantGreat work, Vera! It sounds like you’ve got things well in hand now. I will also offer that several users have reported good luck using a plugin to automatically mark orders as completed, like this one: https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/have-to-manually-complete-orders-to-send-out-tickets/#post-78579
It might be worth checking out to streamline things for you. 🙂
By the way, if you have a minute or two, we will love it if you would write a few words for us here:

ParticipantHi, Chantale. Thanks for the Eventbrite ID. That’s very helpful. In fact, I think that may have gotten us to the root of the issue! 🙂
I tried to import the event and then go to the URL that would normally be associated with that event: http://www.eventbrite.com/edit?eid=9874310328&ref=etckt but it doesn’t resolve. I’m wondering if perhaps you have your events hosted on Eventbrite under a TLD other than .com.
If that’s the case, please try using this tutorial to accommodate the change: https://theeventscalendar.com/support/documentation-eventbrite-tickets/configuring-the-eventbrite-tickets-add-on-to-use-eventbrite-co-uk/ I’m hoping that will resolve all of the mysterious behaviors. 🙂

ParticipantThat’s fantastic! Thanks for letting us know, M F. Happy holidays to you, too!

ParticipantGreat job, M F! That page is from WooCOmmerce, so I’m not the expert on theming it. I’d suggest you head over to the WooThemes forums and check out their stuff. It’s likely that they’ll have some good ideas for you.
Hope that helps! 🙂

ParticipantHi, Vera. I’m sorry about the events disappearing once the snippet is removed. You can still get to the individual event editing pages by navigating to the single event page on the front of the site and then clicking on the Edit event button in the top admin nav bar: http://d.pr/i/9vra
I was able to see your user list that way. Maybe you could use that workaround to test both with and without the snippet to confirm whether the snippet is indeed the culprit?
Thank you for your help troubleshooting!
Kelly
ParticipantHi, Martin. I apologize for the delay. Somehow this fell off my plate.
I’ve pinged our dev team to see if they have any ideas. In the mean time, would you mind confirming that you see the same behavior with Twenty Twelve and only The Events Calendar, WooCommerce, and WooCommerce Tickets activated.
Thanks for your patience! 🙂
Kelly
ParticipantHi, verahelleman. Thanks for getting in touch! This is the first report we’ve had of this issue, so we definitely want to get to the bottom of it.
I’m curious about the troubleshooting you’ve done thus far. Have you had a chance to confirm that the snippet is, in fact, causing this issue with the WooCommerce Tickets functionality? If not, would you mind taking out the snippet and then checking out one of your events to verify?
If that doesn’t prove to be the culprit, it would be great if you could go through our standard troubleshooting steps of deactivating all of your other plugins and changing to a default WP theme like Twenty Twelve (with the snippet in place), that would be very helpful.
Thanks!
Kelly
ParticipantGreat question, M F! 🙂
The easiest option would be to use the WooCommerce shop category for Tickets and change their visibility from hidden to visible. Do you think that might work for you?
