No worries, bradystarr. Doing template overrides is quite straightforward. The Themer’s Guide is written with the themer in mind, rather than a programmer, so it should walk you through what you need.

For a little extra help on modifying a template, you can check out this tutorial: https://theeventscalendar.com/altering-or-removing-headings-on-calendar-views/

The part where I show how to make a template override starts at about 2:20 in the video. Obviously, this is for a different file and making a different change to it, but it should get you pointed in the right direction.

Please let us know how it goes! 🙂

Hi, bradystarr. This looks like a CSS issue where your theme is conflicting with our plugin.

When you reverted to a default WP theme like Twenty Twelve, did you notice the display go back to normal?

Awesome! I’m glad to know that you have a workaround until we can get something baken into the plugin.

We’ll let you know when we’ve got a better solution for you! 🙂

    Hi, rhodesyman. Great question! 🙂

While the license is good for only one site, you can easily control which site it’s linked to from your Account’s License Keys page: https://theeventscalendar.com/my-account/license-keys/ This means that you can use on your dev site and then disconnect it when the time comes for rolling out your production site. 🙂

    Thanks for asking!

Another excellent question, tommyacquario. 🙂 This is also done with a template override. To that end, please make sure you’ve familiarized yourself with the Themer’s Guide, linked in the sidebar.

Then, you basically need to add a few lines of code to your wootickets/tickets.php file. Here’s an example of the modified file:

    http://pastebin.com/rX1SYDsc

The code that controls showing the tickets available is on lines 92-94. You should be able to just slip those lines into your overriden tickets.php to affect the change.

Please let us know how it goes! 🙂

    Hi, tommyacquario. Great question! 🙂

Have you had a chance to check out our Themer’s Guide, linked in the sidebar? That will have all the info you need to make this template override happen. The wording that you’re looking to change is on line 59 of wootickets/tickets.php. (If you search for “out”, you should be taken right to it.)

    Hope that helps!

Great question, tmbond! 🙂 Our WooCommerce Tickets add-on provides integration between The Events Calendar and WooCommerce. The payment process is entirely controlled by WooCommerce. (The same goes for our other Ticketing add-ons.)

    Does that help?

Hi, drhoo. Unfortunately, we don’t have any specific recommendations for plugins. We would be eager to know if you find one that works well for you!

    Thanks! 🙂

You make a great point, drhoo. We are looking into making a role like this available for all of our ticketing plugins. I will relay your request and hopefully that will help with getting it to happen sooner rather than later.

For the time being, your best bet is probably to build a new user role that’s a hybrid of editor and merchant capabilities. There are a few WP plugins that will help you to do that.

Hopefully, that helps a little! 🙂

    Hi, bradystarr. Great question!

Your best bet is to check out the functions here: https://github.com/barryhughes/woot-library/blob/master/aliases.php

That should have what you need to get you pointed in the right direction. Let me know if you get stuck anywhere along the way! 🙂
