ParticipantI need help on this ASAP, I just updated the event calendar to 3.3 and all our events are 1 day event and we’re setup that way. but the update turned everything into 2 day events. So now instead of the customer seeing and event for say July 1st, 2014 they now see it as August 31st – July 1st. Can I roll back the update from 3.3 to 3.2 ????? I need a fix on this.

ParticipantI have the problem in the other way round since 3.3. Multiple day events are one day shorter in list view than in calendar view. Christmas in list view is a one day event, in Calendar it’s shown on two days. http://livingstonegroep.nl/activiteiten/

ParticipantHowdy epratt,
With the right configuration I was able to reproduce this issue. Unfortunately this is a bug. Our devs are currently looking into fixing this ASAP. We will let you know as soon as a full fix is available.
I was able to alleviate the worst of this issue by going into the Events Calendar settings > General Tab > and changing the “End of day cutoff” to 12am. What this did was stop the events from showing up twice in Month View. Unfortunately the event still continues to show an erroneous end date of the day before in the Event Details views.
You can still downgrade if you wish to. Go into Account Central > Downloads and a download past version of our plugin. By manually removing the new plugin folder and unzipping an old plugin in its place, you can downgrade.
I am sorry you found a bug. Thank you for reporting it! Please let me know if this helps.

ParticipantDo you have any estimate on when this defect will be resolved?

ParticipantWe are actively working on a solution as I type. It will be deployed as soon as possible. I would anticipate by end of day, but I can’t promise anything.
Thanks for your patience! 🙂

ParticipantWhere can I find a link to the events calendar 3.1. I have the 3.1 pro zip file. I just need the free one of 3.1 to upload to try to roll back. I figure if I go to 3.1 it will probably fix the problem we currently have with 3.2 as well. Thanks

ParticipantHowdy epratt,
You can download 3.1 from here: http://downloads.wordpress.org/plugin/the-events-calendar.3.1.zip
Do not forget to make a backup of your database just in case. Always a good idea when up/downgrading.

ParticipantThanks Brook,
I rolled it back to 3.1 and it did indeed fix both my problems with 3.3 and 3.2. I can see all my events in the admin side now! 🙂December 19, 2013 at 1:06 pm #82886Brook
ParticipantThat is good to hear! Sorry you had to downgrade. We will let you know as soon as the hotfix for 3.3 is ready.

ParticipantI saw that the 3.31 free version has been updated with this issue, but the pro version has not. It seems as if the hotfix has already been incorporated into the free version – is that accurate?
I’m hoping this gets fixed soon – I had problems with full-day events with a calendar from a different company, and honestly, I’m a bit dismayed that y’all have similar issues with this calendar.December 20, 2013 at 11:20 am #83056Brook
ParticipantHowdy Mdreher,
The Pro version is an addon to The Events Calendar. When you update the base plugin/free version it will fix this issue for both plugins. Please let us know if that is not the case for you. We want to make sure this is completely resolved.
To everyone else who has experienced this issue, please update the core Events Calender plugin to version 3.3.1. You can update from your WP admin plugin screen, or manually download it here: http://wordpress.org/plugins/the-events-calendar/changelog/
Thanks to all for helping us identify and fix this! Please let us know if for some reason any of you are still seeing an all day event incorrectly span multiple days.

ParticipantI did not roll back but decided to wait a day a see if this got resolved quickly. When 3.3.1 was available, I updated the plugin and the ending date issue seems to have been resolved. Thanks.

ParticipantSince this issue appears to be resolved for all by the hotfix we released on Thursday, I am going to close down the thread. Thanks to everyone for helping us fix it.
