ParticipantHi, Donald. We’d like to try to get you up and running with 3.0. If you could keep 3.0 on your test/staging site, we would be eager to have one of our developers take a look. Unfortunately, it probably wouldn’t be until next week.
For reverting to 2.x on your production site, please see our FAQ about downgrading: https://theeventscalendar.com/faqs/help-i-upgraded-but-its-causing-me-problems-how-can-i-downgrade-to-a-pre-3-0-version/
Thanks!

ParticipantHi, feltwest. On further review, I think you’re just hoping to have a way to mark events as “Sold Out” some way that’s cleaner than changing the title.
There isn’t anything implemented out of the box in The Events Calendar PRO. You might try using the Additional Fields functionality to make this happen. It would require a touch of customization to give it the styling you’re looking for, but that might be the ticket.
What do you think?

ParticipantHi, cfunkyk. Thanks for your patience.
We did take a look at your site using the info you provided. As far as we can tell, this is a cache issue with your host, which caches much more aggressively on production vs. staging. It would be helpful if you could get us the error_log, which you can download from the wpEngine panel, to make sure there’s nothing weird going on. Still, the fact that it works on staging points us to a cache issue.

ParticipantHi, amycarolyn. Sorry you’re not finding the docs helpful.
Here’s what you need to get the Organizer ID from within a single event:
$organizer_id = tribe_get_organizer_id( get_the_ID() );Hopefully, that’s enough to get you on the right track!

ParticipantThank you, accessrose. I’m going to go ahead and close this thread, but please feel free to open up a new one if there’s anything else we can do to help.

ParticipantHi, accessrose. If you check out the docs page I linked to in my first reply, you’ll find the template tag documentation. Template tags should allow you to accomplish the same end goal here; while the plugin is designed to have a dedicated events page (at /events/) rather than displaying them on a non-events page, you can accomplish it with template tags if you see fit.
Again, all the documentation is available. We are happy to answer specific questions as needed. I’m afraid this is the only generic answer we can offer on this front.
Best of luck!

ParticipantHi, corageroux. I appreciate you trying to step in and help.
We have documentation for all of the fuctions that you would need available at http://docs.tri.be/. Hope that helps!

ParticipantHi, tdgates10. Unfortunately, for now, that is correct.

ParticipantHi, tdgates10. Thanks for asking about this.
Unfortunately, the ticket resend feature is on our radar but has not yet been implemented. For now, your best bet would be to get the security code or ticket number from the attendees list. Do you think that could work for you?
I’d also encourage you to post about it in out User Voice forum (https://tribe.uservoice.com/forums/195723-feature-ideas) so that we can gague interest and prioritize accordingly.
Thanks for being a TEC user!

ParticipantHi, accessrose. I’m sorry, but I still don’t understand what you’re ultimately trying to achieve.
This is a thread from an older release (i.e., you shouldn’t use the code that’s provided), but maybe it will give you some ideas. Once I understand specifically what you’d like to do, I can help get you pointed in the right direction.

ParticipantHi, Donald. Thanks very much for taking the time to test this.
Since you’ve been able to verify that the Events Calendar works properly under Twenty Twelve, I’m thinking that your custom theme may have something to do with it.
Have you had a chance to reach out to your theme developers? If so, what did they have to offer?

ParticipantHi, accessrose. Would you mind being specific about which view you’re referring to? As I mentioned, the simplest thing might be to embed the widget in the page.
Kelly
ParticipantAwesome! Thanks for confirming. Glad to hear you’re back in business!

ParticipantHi, evhs. We’ve definitely had some issues with Canvas integration.
Would you mind trying the fix suggested over here: https://theeventscalendar.com/garbled-events-page-fix/
Hopefully, that’ll do the trick!
Kelly
ParticipantHi, Rebekah. I definitely see the behavior you’re describing, basically a redirect loop.
It looks like there might be something going on where many of your site’s pages (including The Events Calendar) are referencing a different URL that has a hyphen (“-“) in it. I’d guess that if you got to the bottom of that, the issues with TEC would clear up, too.
Let me know how it goes!
