MemberYep, I think unfortunately you are hitting a different bug. Actually if you follow one of those links you will find you are indeed brought to the next upcoming event in the series (not the one that has passed).
Recurrence is undergoing some large scale refactoring right now and I would be hopeful of this being resolved after that point, until then I’m not sure there is too much more we can do, regrettably.

MemberWe’d certainly consider it an advanced customization.

MemberYes – I understand that and that may be useful as we troubleshoot this (which seems to happen with a number of plugins, though at least in one case we identified is not in fact a specific-to-The-Events-Calendar issue but a general one). My question then is really, with Mingle Forums activated and it’s Use SEO Friendly URLs option enabled, can you access single event pages after flushing permalinks by visiting the Settingsย โ Permalinks admin screen?
I know it may feel like I’m asking the same question again and again, but I don’t mean to, I just want to zero in on this detail as it could help us to identify a broader pattern.
Thanks!

MemberPerhaps there is a conflict – does this still happen if you deactivate all other plugins and switch to a default, unmodified theme (can you test this on your staging site perhaps)?
Barry
MemberThanks @georgeforde – that makes it much easier to assess. Can you try adding the following rule to a custom tribe-events.css stylesheet (see our Themer’s Guide – link over on the right – for details of setting this up):
.tribe_mini_calendar_widget .hentry { width: 220px; }Does that help?

MemberHi @messiahmbc,
If you view a single event you should see a link allowing you to pull it into your Google Calendar. If you need ongoing, automated synchronization then I’m afraid that is currently beyond the capabilities of The Events Calendar/Events Calendar PRO – but we’re always interested in new feature requests if you would like to post one ๐
Does that clarify things?
Barry
MemberHi @Runekjensen,
Displaying the current month’s events by default is what it’s intended to do – so it sounds like in your case the events list widget would be a better fit for your needs (if the reason you are using the calendar widget is because of its appearance, then customizing the list widget to have a matching appearance is likely to be the best route here).
The ideas in this thread cover slightly different ground and you’re right, they may anyway be in need of an update, but hopefully the above suggestion is something you can explore. Do also refer to the following helpful resources for general guidance along the way:
Does that help?

MemberHi @betacoop,
You could override the eddtickets/tickets.php template and look out for the following line:
echo '<input type="number" min="0" name="quantity_' . $ticket->ID . '" value="0"/>';The section you are interested here is the part reading value=’0″ – try changing the 0 to 1 (or whatever you want the default quantity to be). For general information on safely customizing templates, please see our Themer’s Guide.
Does that help here?
Barry
MemberHi Mike,
I do appreciate where you are coming from here and that it’s been a while without any movement on this one. This enhancement is still under investigation and part of the issue is engineering things in a way that will work without causing problems for other ticketing plugins that run on top of the same framework.
I’ve updated our issue tracker to note your continued interest here and would encourage you to continue to monitor our product stream to stay abreast of developments here.
Barry
MemberOK – well let’s leave the thread open and if you do hit further issues along the same lines we can take another look.

MemberExcellent, thanks for the feedback @Christopher ๐

I’ll go ahead and close the thread ๐

MemberHi @mountainx,
I’m sorry to hear you are experiencing problems here. Can you provide a sample of the data you are importing or at least of the date and time formats?
Thanks!
