I’m sorry for the inconvenience: unfortunately this looks like a bug we’re going to have to address in a future release. We realize it’s pretty important and so have prioritized it – but please note the very next release is in the final stages of preparation (and is subject to a code freeze) so it will realistically be the following release before we can address this.

In the meantime, could you workaround this perhaps by adding an explanatory note in the event description that it continues until midnight?

Thanks again for reporting this – and our apologies for any disruption.

    Hi – great question.

When using The Events Calendar / Events Calendar PRO “out of the box” this isn’t something that is facilitated, I’m afraid.

With that said it is a highly customizable plugin and if you’re down with doing some custom WordPress dev work generally (or are able to work with a suitable developer) I’d imagine this is something that could be implemented 🙂

I hope that answers your question – please don’t hesitate to let us know if you have any other queries.

    Thanks!

Unless you are accepting anonymous submissions the user who created the event should show up in the author meta box (scroll down in the event editor to see this – and make sure it is enabled in the Screen Options pull down).

It looks like you are using Events Calendar PRO as well as Community Events, so you could also add an author column to the list of events using the Filters & Columns settings:

    Does that help at all?

Hmm, well that is definitely puzzling.

Unfortunately I’m not sure what else we can do here: as above, order autocompletion seems to work perfectly for me. That said, it is nonetheless a customization rather than something WooCommerce Tickets/WooCommerce do “out of the box” so if that is the stumbling block maybe it would be best to revert to manually completing orders?

OK, well we’d really need to cover that step first of all.

Would it alternatively be possible for you to set up a test installation (can be as simple and straightforward as installing WordPress in a subdirectory in the same environment) – add only our plugins and see if the same problem can be replicated: assuming for the moment everything is fine, start adding the same stack of plugins/themes as you have on the live site, testing at each stage to see if activating them brings about the initial issue you reported.

    Is that viable here?

    Hi!

We’d need to leave it to you to figure out the rest here – though we’d love to help more it is ultimately a custom development that you’ll need to drive to completion by yourself. Beyond our own resources like the Themer’s Guide and technical docs you may find WordPress’s own WP Query documentation to be useful here (look out for the section on ordering query results).

Thanks – and good luck 🙂

    Hi Esteban,

Check out our Themer’s Guide and these other resources (you would need to put a template override in place to add extra info for each event):

To change the View All Events in Category text you could basically follow the same approach outlined by Brook here, for instance.

I hope that helps – if you have any further questions please do open new threads (noting we aim to stick to one issue or question per thread) 🙂

    Thanks!

Hi: can you navigate to Downloads → Payment History and try to locate the order there? You can then use the bulk action menu to mark the orders as complete (or else open the order and do it through the order editor screen).

Changing the order status with EDD (Easy Digital Downloads)

    Does that help?

Definitely. On our end all of the following are worth reviewing:

The WordPress codex itself is also going to be a valuable resource, particularly these entries relating to working with queries and working with hooks, if you’re new to WP dev in general.

We can’t offer much more on this one and so I’ll go ahead and close the thread (though of course if you have questions on anything else or even more specific questions about aspects of this task do feel free to post a new thread and we’ll help or try to point you in the right direction if we can).

    Good luck 🙂

Hi Sean, sorry to hear that.

I did check in with the team on this one as Internet Explorer 8 is a fairly old browser at this point (5 years old in fact, which is a long time in web years!) and the fact is we’re not going to be able to guarantee compatibility here.

Though we do appreciate it is still in use with a number of users for practical reasons we’re going to have to draw a line here I’m afraid.

Sorry we can’t do much more on this one.

I don’t think we do have a great deal of documentation on this right now – it is, currently, an advanced customization and you’d really need solid development skills (and be able to determine what the required enqueued assets are yourself) to make this happen.

We definitely realize this isn’t idea and we do plan to address this either through documentation or perhaps further functionality will be written, trialled and rolled out in some form.

That to say – know that we understand this is an important goal to you and other users and we are aiming to do something to help here – we just can;t help out in the short term in threads like this one.
