MemberI just bought this and am feeling buyerβs remorse. Tell me one business user who does want to show weekend days on their calendar.
We’re definitely listening and you are always welcome to post feature requests.
Another basic requirement is exposing Categories. While i have no problem spending another $65 (so $140 total) for software, just not sure what that $ goes towards if these basic, basic features are not being exposed and worked on.
As Lars highlighted (thanks!) this is possible with a third party plugin – The Events Calendar Category Colors. I do think it’s worth remembering that what you may see asΒ a basic and necessary feature may not be viewed as such by other viewers – who might regard those sorts of embellishments as bloat.
At any rate, hopefully that plugin will get you on track and I’ll go ahead and close this thread – but if you have any further questions or specific concerns please feel free to create new threads as needed and one of the team will be only too happy to help π

MemberWe can’t help too much with custom development questions, I’m afraid. Basically what I wanted to illustrate is that you need to use the custom eventDisplay argument if you want to avoid your own query from being in some aspects “taken over” by the main events query (such as in list view).
We’ll need to leave the rest to you – good luck!

MemberSo to increase the available inventory (if that’s the primary issue) you would need to manually adjust the stock levels. The “sold” count will not drop, though, because a sale did take place even if the order was subsequently cancelled.
That said, I believe we do have a new feature we’re going to develop to allow attendee entries to be completely removed – that isn’t available just yet, though.

MemberNo problem – happy to help!
As an aside, if you have a few minutes to spare and can leave us some feedback about your experiences so far with The Events Calendar we’d love to hear from you π
Since this issue is solved I’ll go ahead and close the thread, but please don’t hesitate to create new ones if we can help with anything else.

MemberAwesome! Though I can’t guarantee the fix will make the very next release, we do hope to make an improvement which should mean yo don’t need this fix for too long.
As an aside, if you have a moment, we’d love to hear your thoughts on your experience with The Events Calendar so far π
