Hi – I’m not quite sure I see the problem.

tribe_rss_feed_add_eventdate() adds some elements like <ev:startdate> and if you inspect the source feed you can see that those elements are indeed present (you’ll probably find it isn’t visibly exposed though if you’re simply viewing it through any number of common RSS readers).

I do see that they are absent when viewed through that rss.atimofeev.com service you are using – but I’m afraid that’s outwith what we can help you with. However, maybe I’m misunderstanding you:

I can confirm the event meta was working before order jiggle.Feed example ( should have event meta β€˜before content’ as part of post body)

Can you clarify what you are referring to re event meta ‘before content’ – I’m not quite sure where that is coming from and see no reference to it in the tutorial’s snippets.

    Thanks!

Sure – the best thing to do is monitor our products news stream: once recurring events are supported this will definitely be one of our bigger news items πŸ™‚

    Thanks!

Ah, sorry AJ – you’re right. The new settings don’t quite cover it.

If you run with the previous outlined steps do they get you where you need to be, with the exception of the end time in the single event meta section?

OK – I’m glad that worked and our apologies for the inconvenience. As in the other thread, please keep that in place until we get a fix out – and of course we’ll drop a note in here as soon as we’re at that point.

Thanks again and apologies for the disruption.

OK, glad that worked. If you can keep that in place for the time being we’ll do our best to get a substantive fix out and will update this thread at that point. Thanks for your patience πŸ™‚

Yes, I’m afraid that – at least at this time – WooCommerce Tickets is the only plugin we’ve got that does something close to what you want and also integrates with WooCommerce itself.

Awesome, glad that you got everything up and running πŸ™‚

For future reference – and in case anyone else comes across this thread – no, data shouldn’t be lost – it all sits in the database and won’t be deleted just because you upgrade manually (nor even if you temporarily deactivate the plugin). That said, every environment is different and there’s always some amount of risk – so making a backup and knowing how to restore that backup is always a wise step.

Thanks again – and I’ll go ahead and close out this thread.

Awesome – and we’ll do our best to reopen this and post an update once we’ve got something substantive to report. Thanks again πŸ™‚

Hi everyone, once again please do feel free to monitor the thread – but I’m only going to be looking at the issues raised by barrywales here: if you need individual support, please create new threads of your own.

    @barrywales
: dealing with the recurring events first of all, can you confirm if the recurring event instances checkbox (in the Events Settings General admin screen) is checked? If it is not, can you check it and save the change then see if that resolves the problem? I’m guessing when you say it’s showing recurring events you mean it is showing more than just the next upcoming event in a sequence – if so, that setting should resolve this.

No split line split between descriptions and date/time.

Can you clarify the problem? Do you mean that the event title and date/time are not broken up so they sit on separate lines?

You can certainly customize things further by adding some CSS – our Themer’s Guide covers the basics of this and is well worth reading. Since this is really a separate question from the initial issue, though, it would be great if you could break it out into a new thread πŸ™‚

    Thanks!

Ah, ok. I’m not sure there’s too clear a path to doing this however it would certainly be worthy feature request to post (along the lines of augmenting the existing default zoom level setting with another that impacts on map view).

If you’d like to post a request, please do so here:

Definitely – sorry we can’t do more here but I do hope you figure it out πŸ™‚

Since it’s a bit beyond what we can help with though I’ll go ahead and close this thread.
