ParticipantHi,
I’m setting up a website for a client that runs a gaming centre (sort of like laser tag), where players can book 2 hour sessions, there are 5 sessions a day.
I purchased ECP and Woo Tickets, not realising WT does not support recurring events, (I stupidly didn’t read that part) and now im thinking i have two options
1. I can create an event for every single session i want to sell a ticket for (that is every single day), and make a ticket for each event in the process.
2. I’m hoping there is some way i can do option 1. but in a slightly more automated way? im essentially asking if there is a bulk edit feature?
Thanks 🙂

MemberUnfortunately not, though you’re welcome to post feature requests for things like this.
Perhaps you could set up a single day and then duplicate it using a suitable post duplicator plugin? I don’t know of any that I’d recommend off the top of my head – but it could be worth looking into.

ParticipantThanks for the suggestion, this may help a little, but i think i might have to still create a ticket for each event.
What i really need is to sell entry to these gaming sessions, i dont really care how i do it. Is there maybe a Events Calendar plugin that just lets me sell spaces at an event, I need the event calendar so customers can choose the day and time they want and so that no more than 10 spots is sold.
Is WooTickets the only thing you guys have that comes close to this? (it has to use WooCommerce because im using First Data gateway and i can only find a WooCommerce plugin for it)
Thanks again, ill post how i went with the bulk editing soon.

MemberYes, I’m afraid that – at least at this time – WooCommerce Tickets is the only plugin we’ve got that does something close to what you want and also integrates with WooCommerce itself.

ParticipantOk cool, thanks a lot for your help. I think i will go ahead and just manually create the tickets for each event.
If you can please let me know when recurring events will be implemented, as i sore the notice that it is in high demand, thanks 🙂

MemberSure – the best thing to do is monitor our products news stream: once recurring events are supported this will definitely be one of our bigger news items 🙂
Thanks!
