    Thanks for the feedback πŸ™‚

    Since it seems like you’re all sorted I’ll go ahead and close this thread – but we’ll definitely have a think about whether there is something we can improve here in future releases.

    Thanks again!

    OK. But we charge for our classes. (www.gmtatennis.org)

    My fault for jumping to conclusions! In that case you’ll have no problem as you can certainly set a price for each ticket that you create.

    We need to set up a waiting list option if the inventory is depleted.

    This is definitely possible, but I’d like to be clear before you decide to purchase that it is not something facilitated “out of the box”. So a small amount of customization work could be required here.

    Q: We need to run WooCommerce with this plugin, right?

    Yes, indeed you would πŸ™‚

    However, we do actually have a range of ticketing plugins all designed to work with different e-commerce plugins such as Easy Digital Downloads, WP E-Commerce and Shopp – so it is arguably smarter to pick the e-commerce solution you feel most comfortable with first of all.

    Does that help?

    I’ll go ahead and close this thread, but as ever please don’t hesitate to create new threads if we can help with anything else.

    It doesn’t help too much, unfortunately, as though we’ve seen reports along these lines in the past it’s typically been caused by a conflict with the theme – and all of the sites I can locate via a web search exhibiting this problem are – as you’d expect – using something other than a default theme.

    I’m really surprised you still hit up against this after deactivating all other plugins and switching to a default theme. Can I ask which theme you switched to? Are you able to put the site online so it’s accessible via the web and see if you can reproduce there – then provide the URL if so?

    Hmm, I’m sorry it’s still a problem for you.

    Unfortunately we just can’t see the problem – a number of different team members have checked this out with fairly up-to-date copies of Safari running on a variety of devices (including an iPhone) and navigating forwards and indeed backwards in month view works as expected.

    As you can appreciate, this makes it a little tricky to troubleshoot.

    What are the actual version numbers of the browsers you tested this with most recently?

    Hi – that’s a lot of questions.

    I’ll try to answer each in turn, but for some it may be best if you break them out in to new threads – as we do try hard to stick to one issue per thread.

    How Useror any one (NOt Admin) Can upload CSV Files in the event manager?

    Any users who belong to a role with the import capability can access this screen. If you want to extend that to users besides admins it may be worth testing out some of the plugins which can help you to modify user roles.

    How Can I Provide the Field for Csv Upload On the Add new Event Page ?

    The CSV importer is accessible via the admin menu (EventsΒ β†’ Import: CSV) rather than the Add New Event screen. If you need to integrate it with that screen then you may be able to do so, but I’m afraid it’s not a customization we can help you with.

    How User or Anyone(Not Admin) Can upload Rich Text and Media files(Image Gallary And vedios) Regarding His Event ?

    Does your question relate to Community Events? If so, I’m afraid this isn’t facilitated, but you are welcome to post a feature request and you could even explore implementing this as a customization.

    ical Import Is not showing ?Where to Activate this function.. ? It shows only Ical Export .

    Importing events from an iCal feed is not currently supported – but, again, please do feel free to post a feature request for this.

    google calander not working .. onclick it show a message β€œThe requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.” ..?

    It would be best to break this out into a separate thread – one of the team will then be more than happy to help:-)

    is there any plugin or something else to add functionality like add to wishlist ?

    I’m not quite sure what the full context is exactly, but I think in any case we’d need to leave you to explore this one and research possible plugins.

    Thanks!

    Hi Josh,

    It looks like http://cb7.425.myftpupload.com/industry-events/ is a fairly conventional main events page (with the default view being set to show a list of upcoming events) whereas http://innovationinmedtech.com/industry-events/ is, if I’m not mistaken, a regular WordPress page.

    With that in mind, perhaps what you need to do in the case of the first site – http://cb7.425.myftpupload.com/ – is change the main events slug to something else, then create a new WordPress page called “Industry Events” (so that it is allocated the slug industry-events) and simply populate it appropriately.

    Does that help/make sense?

    Hi – I’m sorry you’re experiencing difficulties.

    We have indeed had a few reports of this but none that we’ve been able to reliably reproduce, unfortunately, making it difficult to assess and fix.

    One of the biggest problems is that we need to be able to figure out if conflicts might be at work by asking people to run through our standard troubleshooting steps. Of course, in a situation like this one, people understandably do not want to leave their site in a “plain vanilla” state for the length of time needed to really test this out.

    In this case would it be possible for you to set up a fresh WordPress installation – perhaps in a subdirectory within the same hosting environment – and install only our plugins and nothing else, then configure Facebook Importer correctly and see if you can trap the same problem there?

    Assuming for the moment you are unable to replicate this in the test site, start adding the missing components such as any other plugins you are using and ultimately your theme – and see if the problem begins to occur then.

    This is in a sense the reverse of our normal troubleshooting steps because you would begin with only our plugins and incrementally add everything else. By doing it in a test site there should be no impact on your live site.

    Would that be possible here?

    Hi – I’m sorry to hear you are hitting difficulties.

    Since this is a test site, would it be possible to run through our standard troubleshooting steps one more time – with the addition of an extra step at the end:

    • Please ensure that The Events Calendar and Events Calendar PRO are up-to-date
    • Deactivate all other plugins
    • Switch to a fresh, unmodified copy of a default theme such as Twenty Thirteen
    • With all of the above steps done, please visit the Permalink Settings screen, select “post name” (%postname%) style permalinks and save the page even if you make no changes

    Does the problem still persist? If it does, can you let me know before you reactivate your theme/any other plugins so I can take a look?

    Thanks!

    Hi – yes on both counts!

    1) is it possible with this plugin to automatically send customers a printable email with their name and the order? Like a proof of order, that way we can check their tickets when they want to get in the coach.

    When customers order tickets via WooCommerce/WooCommerce Tickets they will be sent an email containing the tickets which they can then print out and bring with them to the door.

    2) an automated customer list to print out for our administration.

    For each event you can view and print out (or email) a list of issued tickets, complete with unique IDs to help you manage attendance.

    I hope that answers your questions, but please let me know if I can assist with anything else πŸ™‚

    Hi – I’m sorry you’re experiencing difficulties.

    • Could you share your URL, by private reply if you prefer, so I could take a look and see if anything jumps out as in need of attention?
    • Can you try running through our standard troubleshooting steps and see if that either resolves this or allows you to isolate any conflicts that may be at work?

    Thanks!

    Hi Joann,

    Apologies for the delay in getting you a response πŸ™‚

    I’d definitely recommend one of our ticketing solutions such as WooCommerce Tickets – though they facilitate the selling of tickets you can make them available at 0 cost. By combining this with the built-in inventory controls you should get pretty close to a solution here.

    Does that help?

    Sure – if you want to actually change the element types (ie, dispense with the h4 tags) and insert extra horizontal rules then reading through our Themer’s Guide and making a template override is going to be the right way forward.

    It’s also worth noting that you could make quite a few changes via CSS:

    .tribe-events-adv-list-widget ol li {
      border-bottom: 1px solid black;
    }

    .tribe-events-adv-list-widget ol li h4 {
      font-size: 14px;
      font-family: sans-serif;
      font-weight: bold;
      padding-bottom: 0px;
    }

    Rules like this can be added to a custom tribe-events/tribe-events.css stylesheet within your theme (and you can read more about this in the Themer’s Guide), ie:

    themes/twentyfourteen/tribe-events/tribe-events.css

    Though the above code probably isn’t perfect and you’d almost certainly need to tweak it to make it mesh nicely with your theme, it should give you an idea of what’s possible via CSS alone. Does that help?

    Hi: I was able to view your site successfully today which is awesome πŸ™‚

    I’m a bit confused by what I’m seeing, though. It looks like you’ve got the Events Calendar widget set up to show 0 events – and that seems to be working as expected.

    Below that you have another widget listing events – but this is not our own Events List widget … rather it looks like you are using Recent Posts Widget Extended or some other third party solution.

    Can you confirm if that is accurate? If so, I’m afraid we cannot help you with that particular widget.

    As an alternative, would it work for you to either increase the number of events listed under the Events Calendar widget or else switch from Recent Posts Extended to our own Events List widget?

    Thanks!
