ParticipantIt looks like I’m having the same problem as this gut but backwards. https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/chromesafari-bug-with-back-button/
When I land on the events page I get this text:August 17 @ 5:00 pm
Find Events Event Views Navigation View As List Month Week Day Map Photo Events From Search Near There were no results found. Events List Navigation Events List NavigationFind out more »
I currently have no events set up.
However when I hit the back button followed by the forward button I then get the correct text which would be:
There were no results found. When I do have events setup in the system, when I get the same text when I land on the event page:
August 17 @ 5:00 pm
Find Events Event Views Navigation View As List Month Week Day Map Photo Events From Search Near There were no results found. Events List Navigation Events List NavigationFind out more »
and hitting the back button followed by the forward button then produced the correct events.
I really need so guidance in the direction as to what could be wrong.August 19, 2014 at 6:52 am #683605Barry
MemberHi – I’m sorry you’re experiencing difficulties.
- Could you share your URL, by private reply if you prefer, so I could take a look and see if anything jumps out as in need of attention?
- Can you try running through our standard troubleshooting steps and see if that either resolves this or allows you to isolate any conflicts that may be at work?
Thanks!

ParticipantThis is a local site so I don’t have a external link. I have tried the standard trouble shooting steps to no avail. However when I do a google search for:
Find Events Event Views Navigation View As List Month Week Day Map Photo Events FromI come up with a number of sites that seem to have the same problem. I don’t know if that helps any. You could check out the sites that come up in the search results to see if you can see any thing that stands out. If not then I will work on putting it on a staging site so it can be viewed as a last resort.

MemberIt doesn’t help too much, unfortunately, as though we’ve seen reports along these lines in the past it’s typically been caused by a conflict with the theme – and all of the sites I can locate via a web search exhibiting this problem are – as you’d expect – using something other than a default theme.
I’m really surprised you still hit up against this after deactivating all other plugins and switching to a default theme. Can I ask which theme you switched to? Are you able to put the site online so it’s accessible via the web and see if you can reproduce there – then provide the URL if so?

MemberHi! It’s been a while so I’m going to go ahead and close this thread. If we can help with anything else, though, please don’t hesitate to create new threads as needed. Thanks!
