Member3.8 was released late yesterday – you should be able to update this morning 🙂
Barry
MemberHi – sorry to hear you are facing difficulties.
I love the idea behind what you’re doing in the menu, though – I don’t think I’ve seen anything quite like that previously.
The first thing that’s worth confirming is if this is indeed a problem stemming purely from The Events Calendar or if a secondary conflict might be at work.
Can you try deactivating all other plugins except for ours and Shift Nav / UberMenu – let’s leave those all active – and additionally switch away from your current theme to a default, unmodified theme like Twenty Thirteen: does the same Javascript error still occur?
Beyond that, can you give me some step-by-step instructions on how to see this error? I played around at the URL you provided but was unable to trigger the same error cited above – can you describe on a functional level what isn’t working?

MemberHi Mike!
It’s always a great idea to do things the right way and we actually put together a “stub” plugin to demonstrate how this all works:
github.com/moderntribe/tribe-events-agenda-view
You can use this to see how everything pieces together and you are more than welcome to basically modify what you need and build on top of it to create your own views.
Does that help?
September 29, 2014 at 3:42 pm in reply to: Using WooCommerce tickets with third-party calendar #776487Barry
MemberHi Steve,
Thanks for getting in touch and for considering WooCommerce Tickets 🙂
I’m afraid that The Events Calendar is very much a dependency of WooCommerce Tickets and separating them as outlined would not be easy.
Is a transition from time.ly to The Events Calendar a possibility? The Events Calendar is packed with functionality, is highly customizable (it is also free!) and you would then be in a position to use other high quality plugins such as WooCommerce Tickets.
I do hope that’s something you can consider – and if you have any further questions please don’t hesitate to reach out to us.
Thanks again!

MemberHi fullservicepage,
I’m afraid there is no particularly easy means of changing the default (which ought to be an empty in this case – ie, indicating unlimited stock – rather than actually being set to zero – which would indicate no stock).
That said, we always welcome requests for new features and functionality and if you’d like to post this on UserVoice, which is our preferred channel for feature requests, we’ll definitely review it 🙂
Thanks again!

MemberHi Mark – how are we getting on here? Did you have a moment to do any further testing (or to connect with your hosting provider)?
Barry
MemberYes indeed!
You should now be able to resend tickets via the Order Actions dropdown (under Resend Order Emails) which can be found in the order editor.
If we can help with anything else, please don’t hesitate to open a new topic/thread and let us know.
Thanks again 🙂

MemberHi denminn,
I’m sorry you’re hitting difficulties.
So just to clarify, does the calendar widget still in the correct position in the Appearance > Widgets admin screen – or are you embedding it by some other means?
Has anything else changed recently – an update you your theme perhaps – that might have coincided with this?
September 29, 2014 at 11:43 am in reply to: Adding daily event count to mini-calendar widget #776120Barry
MemberHi!
So within the very same array you can find a WP_Query object – $day[‘events’] – and you can access each event object through that and then test to see which if any taxonomy terms are applied.
Here are some resources you might be interested in:
This is indeed custom development territory, though, so we’ll really have to leave the rest to you. Good luck – and if we can help with any other issues please don’t hesitate to create new threads as needed.
Thanks again!

MemberNo problem 🙂
Barry
MemberHi,
There is indeed a bug that impacts additional fields for recurring events.
We’re actually just putting the finishing touches on a fix that should roll out with our very next release (due imminently) so I’d definitely recommend waiting until that arrives – there’s a very good chance this will be resolved at that point.
Thanks for your support and patience while we work through this 🙂
Barry
MemberHi!
I’d love to help if I can, but I can’t find a live example of events generated by The Events Calendar on your site (the URL you provided returns a 404).
It looks like perhaps you’ve switched to a different calendar plugin which is a shame if so – but that being the case do you still need assistance?
Barry
MemberHi santosfel5,
Yes – it should be possible for you to trash individual events within a recurring event pattern – so you can mark and delete as appropriate.
Does that help?
September 29, 2014 at 7:16 am in reply to: tribe_get_recurrence_text returning incorrect text #775639Barry
MemberHi Marty 🙂
You can find an entry for tribe_get_recurrence_text() in the PRO section of docs.tri.be (we group things by plugin):
docs.tri.be/Events-Calendar-PRO/function-tribe_get_recurrence_text.html
I’m not sure I can replicate the same problem, though – if for instance I amend list/single-event.php so that the recurrence description is always printed (via tribe_get_recurrence_text()) then it works as expected: nothing shows for non-recurring events, whereas recurring events display the relevant information.
Is there any more context you can provide? When is your loop running?
Barry
MemberHi markrobinson,
Can you confirm if you managed to resolve this – or else point me in the right direction? I don’t see the first event being used as the title when I visit it.
On another note when will you be implementing short-codes? SHort-codes will make theme integration much easier especially with multipurpose themes.
We’re considering adding shortcodes for a variety of things, but there are no firm plans at this time.
We’d love to hear more from you, though, over on UserVoice which is our preferred channel for feature requests (and please do provide some specifics as to what you want to see, as of course shortcodes could be used in many different scenarios) 🙂
Thanks!
