MemberGenerally we recommend using tribe_get_events() if you need to run an event-related query, as that helps to ensure that the query is processed by The Events Calendar (otherwise non-standard keys like eventDisplay will most likely be ignored).

MemberHi Earl: have you explored using the tribe_get_venue() function?

MemberHi Parvaiz!
Did you select the relevant radio button to show the tickets on the front end? Please see this section of the New User Primer to see what I mean.
Let me know if you have further difficulties!

MemberThanks for posting this, it’s great to see community members sharing tips and tricks.
And yes, the forum doesn’t handle code too nicely – so using Pastebin, Gist or a similar service as you have done is the best way to share code.

MemberHi Chris! How did Rob’s suggestion work out for you – are you all set here?
Barry

MemberHi Joseph,
Since they are two different installations you would technically need two different licenses: if there was a problem on one and not the other, for instance, we would only guarantee support for the licensed installation.
Is moving funds to another PayPal account from PayPal itself not an option here?
Another idea (applicable if you are planning on using WooTickets – but note this is just an idea, not something that is necessarily achievable without a dab of customization work) is that you could modify the PayPal account used by WooCommerce on the fly according to criteria such as which event tickets were purchased for.
Hope that helps,
Barry

MemberYou’re right and I think we’d all benefit from better search tools – I believe some improvements are in the works – and actually I was unable to locate the thread I was thinking of 🙁
However! … I did knock this together as it is fairly straightforward code in principle and pretty much replicates what I was trying to find:
This would be inserted within list.php after the while loop opens and is a simple workaround. What you are describing however is actually the expected behaviour: the Multiday Event Cutoff setting is only intended to affect gridviews, not upcoming events.

MemberI seem to recall this being brought up a few times in the recent past, and the solution involves a slight change to your list.php template. I’ll see if I can dig up one of the previous threads on this subject.

MemberHi Saeed, thanks for the feedback. Our views and templates are being overhauled significantly in time for what will hopefully be the next release so let’s hold tight and see what that brings.
In the meantime (and possibly even then) the best way to exercise control is to customize the CSS – which is exactly what your friend did.
The reality is we need to provide some basic styling to make the calendar presentable on a wide range of devices, but this isn’t going to be bulletproof and that’s why the plugin is designed in such a way as to allow for customizations, directly within the template as well as at stylesheet level.

MemberHi B., I’m not completely sure I understand the problem – can you direct me to a URL where I can observe this?
Barry
MemberHi Christina – do you mean that you want to change this field on the single event page? If so you could do this using template overrides – please see this tutorial. Does that help here?

MemberHi Sandro. Are your server’s date/time settings correct and does this occur if you follow the standard troubleshooting steps of:
– Ensuring all of your Modern Tribe plugins are up to date
– Disabling all other plugins and also switching to a default, unmodified theme such as Twenty Eleven?Barry
MemberHi Jason, I’m not sure that Tribe-specific conditions such as eventDisplay are respected in a new WP_Query.
Barry
MemberHi George!
Thanks for the feedback. This is definitely possible, but currently would require quite a lot of work. We definitely see the merit in this idea though and will log it for the devs to consider in a future release.
Cheers!
