    Hi Macy,

Sorry if I closed that other thread prematurely.

Can you try swapping out the code in that thread with this slightly revised version and see if that works for you?

You certainly need a valid key to enjoy automated updates – is it possible either that the key has expired (in which case you would need to renew) or that you originally used it on a different domain (if so that’s not a problem – it should be possible to reassign it)?

That’s a fantastic contribution to make – thanks for sharing – I look forward to giving it a try 🙂

Sure – sounds like a plan.

It’s probably possible to workaround it by introducing new CSS rules but, if you are anyway planning a change, that could be more time and effort than it’s worth. That said, you can always let us know if you want to explore that.

Ideally in a fresh thread if you don’t mind, it also helps other users to find solutions if they are looking for information about the same or similar issues.

So the thing with using a custom-built user submission form (as opposed to Community Events’ submit event form) is we can’t really offer any support – though I do notice that rather than having a single date field there are separate year, month and day inputs so perhaps something in the wiring isn’t combining them into the correct format?

However I’m afraid we’d have to bow out and leave this one to you/your developer.

Hmm, looks like there is a Javascript error – it relates to an “easing” function so I don’t think it is related to The Events Calendar, although it certainly seems to be impacting upon it.

Can you try switching to a default theme and see if that resolves this, or if not keep a default theme active and deactivate all non-Modern Tribe plugins and see if that helps.

    Cheers!

No plans that I’m aware of, but you could definitely add a form or custom fields by customizing the tickets.php template. Some good reading to give you an idea of what’s possible:

Hi Jeffrey, sorry to hear that. I’d love to take a peek and see if any obvious problems jump out – however the URL you provided when you opened the thread doesn’t seem to be valid. Can you confirm where I should be looking (definitely feel free to use our private reply feature if you prefer).

    Thanks!

You’re right, it looks like a possible oversight. Bear with me while I check in with the team on this one.

Hi elianab – do you still need help with this one?

Something else to consider: normally the generated PDF will be located under wp-content/uploads/{YEAR}/{MONTH} – if the above steps don’t yield anything can you check to see if the expected ticket PDF is indeed in that directory/if a new PDF is being generated following order completion?

Hi John: no problem, if there’s anything else please just create a new thread and someone will help as soon as possible.

Rich: I can’t replicate this. If I use bulk actions to mark an order or orders as completed then the ticket PDF is attached as expected. With that in mind, I wonder if it’s possible there is a conflict of some kind here … could you try running through our standard troubleshooting steps and see if this still occurs for you under default circumstances?

    • Please ensure that your Modern Tribe plugins are up-to-date and in-synch … for instance if you are using The Events Calendar 2.0.11 you must also use Events Calendar PRO 2.0.11 (in this case, also WooTickets 1.0.1 and WooCommerce 2.0.x – if you could confirm the actual version of WooCommerce you are using that might be helpful here, too)
    • Deactivate all other plugins and change your theme to a default, unmodified one such as Twenty Eleven or Twenty Twelve
    • Now test to see if the problem still exists
    • If the problem has been solved by these steps, start reactivating everything one-at-a-time, testing at each point to see if the issue has returned
    • If the issue does return, take note of whichever plugin (or theme) you reactivated immediately before it started again – it’s likely there is a conflict with this item

Excellent – thank you for taking the time to share your solution and the steps you’re trying out here.
