This update improves compatibility with The Events Calendar so that Filter Bar respects the background color of the calendar if it is changed.

This is a “maintenance” release, meaning it should be a super smooth update but, as always, please backup your site and database as you would with any other WordPress update.

✨ New

If you use the WordPress Customizer options for changing the background color of events that were introduced in The Events Calendar 5.3.1, those changes will be reflected on Filter Bar as well.

✅ Fixed

Bugs that were squashed in this release:

  • Fixed an issue requiring users to click twice on navigation arrows to paginate between Events when Filter Bar is active.
  • Improvements to avoid fatal errors while using the TRIBE_EVENTS_FILTERBAR_V1_VIEWS filter.
