Maintenance Release

2020 is saying goodbye and while Santa is busy readying all the gifts, our team prepared another great update for The Events Calendar, including new features and improvements.

This is a “maintenance” release, meaning it should be a super smooth update but, as always, please backup your site and database as you would with any other WordPress update.

✨ New

We spruced up the WordPress Customizer with new color options for events:

  • Change the background color for events.
  • Change the color of the event title.
  • Change the color of the date and time for events.

✅ Fixed

We improved a few things in this release:

  • Fixed an issue in Events Aggregator where some Events would be imported with the wrong Timezone.
  • Fixed an issue in Events Aggregator where sometimes Venue Address wasn’t imported.
  • Fixed an issue where a Password Protected Event could break WordPress menu styles.

  • 63 updated
  • 1 fuzzied
