Maintenance Release for the Week of 13 May 2019

Today’s Maintenance Release is focused on Event Tickets and Event Tickets Plus. We’ve added several tooltips to the attendee reports in the admin to help explain how Event Tickets calculates availability. You’ll also find that a previous issue that prevented users from submitting the attendee registration form when it was embedded on a page using the Attendee Registration shortcode has been resolved, among dozens of other fixes, tweaks and updates.

Maintenance Releases are smaller updates between major updates that are mostly comprised of bug fixes, tweaks, and small, but meaningful improvements.

Event Tickets 4.10.5

  • Feature – Add tooltips to the Attendee Report page
  • Feature – Add tooltip to explain what statuses are behind Pending Order Completion
  • Feature – Add tooltip to explain how “Available Count Per Ticket” is calculated
  • Feature – Add tooltips to explain the sold and available tickets amounts in the block editor
  • Fix – Add checks to tribe_events_count_available_tickets() and tribe_events_has_unlimited_stock_tickets() to properly detect unlimited tickets.

Event Tickets Plus 4.10.4

  • Feature – Add tooltips to the attendee report, utilizing a new tooltip object in tribe-common
  • Feature – Add support for checkbox values returning as “Checked” when populating data for attendee list exports
  • Tweak – Verify the status of attendees as complete when they are checked in using the REST API
  • Tweak – Utilize the order items to generate the Order Report for WooCommerce instead of referring to the attendee
  • Tweak – Remove cancelled orders from counting as Pending Completion on the WooCommerce Tickets Order Page
  • Tweak – Change some tooltip text on the Attendee Report page for clarity around capacity, inventory, and stock
  • Tweak – Adjust the styling of the Attendee Information required fields indicator
