Hi! This should be pretty easy to fix. Our Personal level licenses grant you the ability to install and activate the plugins on one site. Right now, you have your PRO license activated on b24.e55.myftpupload.com. I assume that is a development site.

You can login to your account and look at your license keys here: https://theeventscalendar.com/license-keys/ and what sites are authorized with your key. Simply disconnect that one and then re-enter your key over on cadasb.org.

You will no longer get auto-updates on your dev site, but everything should still work there just fine with manual updates.

Let me know if that clears up your concerns. Have a great weekend!

    Greg,

Community Events will allow front-end submission. If you also need ticketing capabilities, it gets a bit more complicated. You’ll need our Event Tickets (free) and Event Tickets Plus (premium) to add ticketing functionality. To get that within Community, you’ll need Community Tickets (premium).

You might want our Community Manager Bundle which packages all of that up and also includes Filter Bar for less than the three mentioned above would cost individually.

Community Tickets currently has supports PayPal for split payments, but you should be able to use Stripe if you are taking all the payments directly and paying your community organizers through a manual process.

Sounds like you made your 4.3.1 match our 4.3.1.1. 🙂 You can update to the official 4.3.1.1 release as it should match what you have other than the version number. If you prefer to wait, 4.3.2 will be coming in a couple weeks and you can just sit tight.

Sounds like you are in good shape now though, I’m going to go ahead and mark this resolved.

When you are done entering a subject, it shouldn’t prompt you again. It will however, continue to make suggestions as you adjust your title. Without this, we gets lots of duplicate reports.

If you are experiencing something different, let us know what browser you are using and we’ll take another look.

Can you confirm that you have updated to version 4.3.1.1 of both The Events Calendar and Events Calendar PRO?

If you replace the plugin files with the latest versions it will not impact your data, as that is stored in MySQL, but will fix the plugin code which is throwing the errors. You should make sure you have 4.3.1.1 of both The Events Calendar and Events Calendar PRO.

    Hi Greg,

I’m bummed to hear that your first impressions with us have been below your expectations. It has been a challenging couple of days around here, but things have stabilized and I’m hoping we can begin re-building confidence from here.

I’ve not seen the specific forum issue that you are reporting, if you encounter it again, can you take a screenshot and/or capture the URL? This is certainly not expected or common behavior and if we can get the right information, I’d be happy to chase it down.

On the topic of bad documentation, please let me know if there are specific missing pieces of documentation or incorrect docs. We spend a lot of time with each release producing more documentation and editing the existing docs. That being said, our product covers a lot of different scenarios and has a long history. It is certainly possible that we have missed some items, but I can prioritizing getting that resolved.

I’m optimistic that your experience with us will be a positive one and I always welcome feedback if you are feeling dissatisfied in any way.

    Sincerely,
    Zach Tirrell
    Director of Product
