MemberThanks for the follow-up, Matt, and for sharing the link. From what I gather via checking out that Janrain website it looks like it may be broader than what anything in our plugin stable can integrate with.
I can definitely see the value in this social integration you speak of – we haven’t seen much demand for it specifically with regards to our plugins up until now, but there have been more and more requests for it so it’s likely that at some point we will include something along these lines. In the shorter-term, though, it seems like WooTickets – when that launches in the coming months – will be the best route to go.
On that same note…we’ll probably have the first round of WooTickets beta kicking off over the next month or so. Happy to save you a slot in the beta if you think you’d be available/interested in participating…let me know. Apologies I couldn’t offer up more in the short-term.

MemberHi again Joseph. If I understand your issue correctly, might this thread (https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/leave-one-category-out-of-list-view-and-nextprevious-event-wpml/) be of value to you? Jonah provides a response that looks like it’d be useful. Let me know if not, or if I misunderstood the issue here. Thanks in advance!

MemberHey Joseph. Thanks for reaching out here, and for sharing the link. I am seeing your problem there. It looks to me like this is a conflict with either your theme or another plugin. Can you try deactivating other plugins one-by-one, until just The Events Calendar/PRO 2.0.8 are active on your site with the theme? And – if the problem persists from there – reverting back to the default 2011 theme, still with no other plugins active?
That will allow us to identify where the conflict lies, so we can try to troubleshoot from there. Thanks for your patience and support so far – we’ll do what we can to get you through this.

MemberNice work, Mike! This is a bit outside my area of expertise but I’ve asked our lead dev Paul to vet this and make sure it works as it should. If we don’t see any conflicts we’ll definitely see what can be done to incorporate it into next month’s maintenance release. (If we do, we’ll certainly give you credit for your contribution).
Thanks again and do let us know if you need anything else from us in the future. Cheers!

MemberFantastic. Glad to hear you got this taken care of, Marc; I’m going to mark your response as the “Answer” so other users who face this same problem down the road can rely on it. Looks like you’re set here for now so I’m going to close out the thread…but if we can do anything else in the future please let us know. Cheers!

MemberHey Sandro. Thanks for the note here, and for your explanation of the situation here. This does look like a bug as I was able to recreate it on my end test site too. I’ve logged it for the team asking them to take a look and try to find a resolution for the next release; in the interim, out of curiosity, what would having the tiered categories accomplish that the current structure cannot, for organization purposes on your end? We know it’s wrong and obviously need to fix it but I’m interested in hearing what you’re trying to go for that you’re not able to do as it stands.
Thanks for the heads up and your patience on this so far.

MemberNice – thanks for confirming as much, John. Glad to hear you got a method here that works for you and that the override was able to assist in that. Sounds like we’re set with this particular issue so I’m going to close it out…but if we can do anything more in the future just holler.
Thanks again for the tip, too, Andy!

MemberHi Rich! Thanks for reaching out here, and for your interest in our calendar. We appreciate it and are happy to answer any questions you may have about how it behaves. While the plugin doesn’t have any code in it specifically meant to ease with print view, in general – with most themes – you can find a view that works well under Events -> Settings, in the Template tab, and print that from there. If that doesn’t do the trick you could also always try to “Save to PDF” route and print that, which may be easier / more flexible than just printing the page directly.
Sorry I couldn’t offer up more here – basically if you’ve found the free (The Events Calendar) version has a view that prints well with your theme, the PRO release will share that behavior and will print as expected. If you have any other questions or if I can elaborate here please let me know. Thanks!

MemberThanks, Mike!
Bill, this of any use to you? Still got any questions after reviewing Mike’s note + mine above it? Let us know and we’ll follow-up on our end as needed. Cheers!

MemberNo problem at all. If you have additional questions once you’ve had time to look into it – no matter how far down the road that may be – just let me know and I’ll get you what you need. Have a great week otherwise.

MemberHey there Jon. Thanks for reaching out, and for using our plugins. We appreciate your support and the detailed explanation you provided here. When you posted on WordPress.org, were you involved in this thread (http://wordpress.org/support/topic/plugin-the-events-calendar-navigation-from-template-get-lost) ? If not, that may be a good starting point. It seems like by and large most of the users in that thread have gotten it figured out.
Let me know if that either doesn’t do the trick, or isn’t the same issue, and I’ll follow-up as needed from there. Thanks!
Rob
MemberAh, fantastic! That’s weird that the preview isn’t showing the same thing as the finished product (I’ll have to get the team to take a look at why that’d be happening), but I’m glad the actual published event looks as it should. Site is looking sweet!
Sounds like you’re all set here so I’m going to close out the thread…but please let us know if you need anything else in the future.

MemberAwesome to hear you got this figured out, Lillie. Thanks for confirming as much – I’m going to close out the thread but if you need anything else in the future, please let us know. Thanks, too, for your ongoing support 🙂

MemberHey Kieber. Sadly, this plugin does include a week view. At this point we have month view, list view and single day view…while week view has been requested a few times and will likely be the next new one we add, that probably won’t be until during the 2.1 lifecycle that kicks off this fall.
Hope that helps and sorry I couldn’t offer up more. If you have any other questions here please let me know.

MemberThis is awesome, Andy! Thanks for sharing…this should be of some real value to folks. I’ve asked Paul to take a quick look and make sure he doesn’t see anything that could pose conflicts with the next build we’ve got in the works. Once I get word from him that we’re A-OK here I’ll make this thread sticky so others can see it easily.
Also planning on doing a nice writeup of you / your work here on the tri.be site once some of the other issues die down. As both Joyce and Jonah (2/3 of the support team) are out for the time being, I’m handling support pretty much singlehandedly and will probably need to wait until I have some backup on that end before I can jump back into feature post writing.
