MemberHey shanghaitigers. Thanks for the follow-up here. Glad to hear you’ve made some progress. That sounds reasonable to me and could be accomplished a couple of ways.
The easiest would be to see if a social plugin (there are a number of good ones out there) can auto-generate those buttons for you. But if not, you’d need to craft them (so they match the look/feel you want) then create a custom template for your single event and any CSS tweaks you’d need as well. Both of these are accomplished via template overrides, which we’ve covered in this tutorial: https://theeventscalendar.com/faqs/what-are-template-overrides-and-how-do-i-do-them/.
Hope that helps! Let us know if we can do anything else here.

MemberHey calarttech. Sorry that this one has slipped through the cracks – it’s on our radar now and I’m committed to helping get it addressed. While this is a bit outside my area of expertise I have it on the list for one of our more dev-minded team members, so we can try to point you in the right direction from there.
We’ll get you a reply in as timely a fashion as possible. Thanks for your support and patience in the interim.

MemberHey accessrose. Thanks for the original point you posted here, and the follow-up you noted in your private message. To address the private message right off the bat: we are definitely aware there are some loading issues on the calendar view, related to how the MySQL queries are handled. We’ve tweaked this a bit for the impending maintenance release and you should find it a much smoother process as a result. Definitely let us know if you find the slowness persists even after the update though.
Regarding the original issue: when I visited your site just now, I saw today’s events listed when I used the datepicker to select 8/20. When I hit the Previous link, it bumped me back (loading as it should) to http://www.nyclout.com/events/2013-08-19/.
Wondering if my experience differs from yours because of something you wrote: “I can only view the current day of events and unfortunately the calendar changes hours before the cut off date is set.” Do I have to view it at a specific time of the day to catch this in action?
Rob
MemberHi there vegandoaist. Thanks for the note here – so if I understand correctly, you just want to set the calendar widget to view September? Let me know if I’m misunderstood there. Otherwise we actually addressed a very similar issue for a separate user recently and as a result I think you might find this comment from a related thread valuable: https://tri.be/support/forums/topic/setting-calendar-to-one-month/#post-59577.
Hope that helps. Let me know if it doesn’t, and I’ll try to point you in the right direction. Thanks for your patience so far.
Rob
MemberExcuse me, I misspoke. It’s the admin-views folder for core (not PRO).
Rob
MemberHey Harold! You’re referencing the plugin’s own datepicker, right? If so – have you checked out datepicker.php (in the admin-views folder for PRO)? Let me know if that’s not what you’re looking for or if I’m misunderstood. Cheers.

MemberGlad to be of service, Jonathan! Thanks a ton for posting your solution here, too. Going to mark it as the answer and close the thread back up…but if you need anything else here you know how to reach me 🙂 Thanks again.

MemberHey folks. Just a heads up that Barry from our team is looking at this one for you now, and should have a reply with some thoughts today. Thanks for all your patience so far.
Rob
MemberHello Ray! Thanks for confirming on this end. I’ve re-assigned that other thread you reference over to barry, who is following up with the team on our end to get you a reply in as timely a fashion as possible. Please don’t hesitate to email me directly – rob /a/ tri.be – if you find yourself not getting the level of service there you’ve come to expect. Closing this thread out for now though.
Thanks!
Rob
MemberHey Eric! Thanks for the note here, and please accept my apologies for the delayed reply. I want to do what I can to get this sorted for you in as timely a fashion as possible.
It appears as though you’ve fixed this problem? When I view list view at the link you provided, it appears to be showing events in the proper order going forward: http://d.pr/i/mtzv. Let me know if I’m misunderstood here though.

MemberHey there Brigten. Thanks for the note here, and my apologies for the experience you’ve had so far. Can you confirm whether or not you’ve already got this fixed? It looks like MAP view is disabled on the site there, but when I visit an individual entry and click the Google Maps button, it opens in Google and does indeed show the correct location.
Have you fixed this already, or am I misunderstood as to the source of the problem? Let me know and we’ll do what we can to get you sorted.

MemberHey there trevellyan. Thanks for this follow-up; admittedly, this has gotten a bit outside both Leah and my areas of expertise. But I’ve asked Barry from the team to take a look here and see if he can point you in the right direction, in as timely a fashion as possible.
Really appreciate your patience so far.

MemberHey again! It sounds like if I understand your goal, this could just be accomplished by updating the translation files, no?
Rob
MemberYes! You can, and there’s actually a setting to disable it under Events -> Settings -> Display. See here: http://d.pr/i/h3KE. Does that help?
