No prob. Got Jonah taking a look at threads this afternoon, and yours is among them, so we’ll have eyes on this today.

Ah, gotcha. I’m not sure how possible that is, but then again I have no experience attempting it – so let me see if Jonah has any suggestions.

Hey Ruben. No problem; I believe I understand what you’re trying to do. I can get our dev Jonah to take a look this afternoon & see if he has any suggestions to offer up here. Stay tuned.

Thanks Marc. I didn’t see your email; if this is still an issue after giving Andrzej’s suggestion a shot, can you resend to rob at tri.be (with a link to this thread so I have a frame of reference jumping into it)?

Hi Will. When I visit the link you’ve posted above, I see that /calendar defaults to grid view; if I toggle to list view, it becomes /calendar/upcoming, and if I toggle back to grid from there it shows as /calendar/month. Are you saying you want the /calendar link to always display as /calendar/month, or vice versa?

Hi Kylie. Thanks for the note; hope you’ve been well. Oddly I thought we’d fixed this. Are you using 2.0.3 for both free & PRO?

Hi Gretchen. Thanks for the follow-up. Any chance you’d be willing to send me over a set of backend credentials, along with a link to this forum thread as a frame of reference? We should continue the discussion here at the forum (I suspect I’ll need to get a dev involved to identify what’s up here) but you can send over the credentials we’ll need for access so they don’t have to be posted publicly here at the forum. My email is rob at tri.be; send it over and we’ll keep digging from there.

Thanks for the heads up, Trevor – glad to hear you got this figured out. Let me see if Jonah or anyone else on the team has a suggestion re: how we can workaround the post ID issue in the official code. That way if a fix is possible, we can get it in for 2.1 or a subsequent release.

Mike: we’re still plotting the official release plans for 2.1, but I will say that if you throw a vote for it into the “Feature Requests” thread (https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/events-calendar-pro-feature-requests/), it’ll be weighted more heavily the more votes it gets. Thanks again for all your feedback so far!

Thanks Mike. Are you also using a customized single.php, or is this happening out of the box as well?

    Thanks for the suggestion, Jonny.

James: would definitely be helpful if you could confirm on this.

Ah, excellent to hear you got this sorted Mark – had you made the jump from a 1.x release to 2.x? If so, that would have caused what you noted…your custom templates could definitely have gotten wonked. But going from an eariler 2.x release to 2.0.3 shouldn’t have wiped your changes if you had done the initial override properly.

In either case it sounds like you’re set here, but let me know if anything else comes up.

Awesome to hear; thanks for confirming, hc2ca. Sheila: assuming you’re all good here too, but let me know if not.

Thanks guys. Had another report of this today so it’s possible there’s a bug that was introduced in 2.0.3. I’ve got a dev on deck to take a look this afternoon and respond accordingly if there are any suggested fixes we can offer up. Apologies for the inconvenience in the interim.

Hi Aaron. Thanks for posting on this. Feel free to wait for other members of the community to respond, but if you don’t get anything, we’ve got a dev who we work with sometimes (who built the forums here actually) that is usually open for some freelance work. He’s familiar with the plugin and could probably help out on the customization front depending on the time/scope of your project. Shoot me an email (rob at tri.be) if you want me to introduce you. Cheers!
