MemberThanks Jen. Can you provide some steps to recreate the ical/Google Calendar shortcode issue? We can try to resolve it from there…glad you have a workaround but if there is an issue with the code we definitely want to make sure that gets fixed.
Rob
MemberHey Alain. Thanks for the note. This is a known issue in the current 2.0.4 code base, unfortunately. The good news is we’ve got a fix for it in 2.0.5 which should be out either later this week or early next. Let us know if after updating both The Events Calendar and PRO, whether the issue persists. Apologies I couldn’t offer up more in the short-term. If you have any other questions along these lines please let me know.

MemberThis is an excellent suggestion, Kandace! Thanks for sharing. I can definitely see this being of value to other users as they wait for an official solution. Cheers.
Rob
MemberThanks for the assistance, Steve. Let us know if we can do anything else for you as you keep using the plugin.
Rob
MemberHey Sheila. It should, yes; update to the official 2.0.4 for both The Events Calendar and PRO, then try Jonah’s suggestions again. It ought to do the trick…though let us know if not.
Rob
MemberExcellent to hear! Glad to be of service. Sounds like you’re all set on this particular issue, but if you need anything else don’t hesitate to let us know.
Rob
MemberHey Sheryl, awesome to hear you got this figured out. Assuming you’re all set here as a result but let me know if not!
Rob
MemberHey Sean. If you log in on the backend of the site and visit Events -> Venues from the left-hand admin menu, you should be able to add/modify/delete venues as you see fit. Have you given that a shot?
Rob
MemberExcellent to hear that did the trick, Myriam. Please let us know if we can do anything else down the road and thanks again for your support.
Rob
MemberHey Carlos. Happy to help here; does the FAQ linked to in this post (https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/how-to-change-event-page-content-layout/) point you in the right direction? It relates to switching the map (above vs below) the text and should cue you in as to how to tweak it. But if you’re looking for something more specific let me know and I can see if our devs can point you in the right direction. Thanks!
Rob
MemberSheila: are you sure you’re using the tagged 2.0.4 code, rather than one of the betas provided alongside the Eventbrite code?

MemberJason: just a heads up that we’ve got our other devs taking a look now. It may take until the end of the week to respond, since they’re deep in finalizing the 2.0.5 code for release, but they are taking a look. Apologies for the inconvenience thus far.
Rob
MemberHey Olafur. Glad to hear you’ve made some progress; it does sound like this may be a problem specific to the theme. Want to let us know the ultimate results of your digging, and we can proceed appropriately from there?
Rob
MemberHey Sarah. Thanks for the note. As much as I’d love to say yes, our system requires 501(c)(3) confirmation to be a nonprofit at this time. Sorry I couldn’t offer up more!
Rob
MemberHey there Olafur. Thanks for the words. While we can never guarantee the plugin will integrate smoothly with every theme out there, we try to do all we can to assist with integration where feasible. The 2.1 code base should help a lot with that…we’re changing the templating structure to allow it easier integration with any theme, so that ought to make things more straightforward on your end.
In the interim, my best suggestion would be to either hack at it or see if other users have found workarounds. If you’ve got any specific problems and want to share a link or a screenshot, I’ll see if I’ve got any ideas to point you in the right direction as well.
