ParticipantProbably a very simple answer to some but I’m left scratching my head. Any ideas how to get the post to show up adjacent to the post. The following link shows a void next to the map… that’s were I would like the post text to display. Preferably Post on the left Map on the right.

Big thanks as always!

MemberHey Carlos. Happy to help here; does the FAQ linked to in this post (https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/how-to-change-event-page-content-layout/) point you in the right direction? It relates to switching the map (above vs below) the text and should cue you in as to how to tweak it. But if you’re looking for something more specific let me know and I can see if our devs can point you in the right direction. Thanks!

ParticipantHey Rob – tinkered with the support document before I posted, and could not get the side by side look I was going for for some reason (above below works fine). Any pointers you guys can give would be great.
I also noticed in the support document that it says to move the code with the thumbnail reference in it. Does this mean that both the featured image and google map move around together, or can they be moved independently? My final goal was to get the feature image alongside the event details, then below that have the summary on the left and the map to the right. I’m not firm on this layout so no worries if its beyond the scope of your support
thanks!

ParticipantHey Carlos, if you open /wp-content/plugins/the-events-calendar/views/single.php (making sure to override it if your making changes – place a copy in an ‘events’ folder in your theme) on lines 89-91 you’ll find the code used to display the map. You can place that anywhere you want. And then with CSS you can move things around however you want.
