ParticipantHi,
I happen to really like YooTheme and I simply love TECPro! I read on the Forum that other users are having issues making the two work together. I am certainly not able to make TECPro work properly on my site using YooTheme’s Revista. Does anyone know if there is hope for future improvement, or is it a question of giving up one of the two?
Many thanks!March 20, 2012 at 8:03 am #16970Rob
MemberHey there Olafur. Thanks for the words. While we can never guarantee the plugin will integrate smoothly with every theme out there, we try to do all we can to assist with integration where feasible. The 2.1 code base should help a lot with that…we’re changing the templating structure to allow it easier integration with any theme, so that ought to make things more straightforward on your end.
In the interim, my best suggestion would be to either hack at it or see if other users have found workarounds. If you’ve got any specific problems and want to share a link or a screenshot, I’ll see if I’ve got any ideas to point you in the right direction as well.

ParticipantHi – I really do appreciate your reply, thanks!
The problem is this; when I choose “Events” and add that to the Menu, it fails to display the Calendar. However, when I choose an Event Categorie, add that to the Menu, that works great! On my site: http://www.olafursigurdarson.com you’ll find this under the two menu’s; Events and then Opera (being the Categorie). I suppose this has to do with the Theme’s handling of the Events as a Custom Menu Item? Look forward to 2.1 🙂
Thanks again 🙂

ParticipantI’ve actually had some progress; the Revista Theme allows for System Output to be turned off, which I was using for the Frontpage. That affected my Events page. Will continue digging!

MemberHey Olafur. Glad to hear you’ve made some progress; it does sound like this may be a problem specific to the theme. Want to let us know the ultimate results of your digging, and we can proceed appropriately from there?
