MemberHey David,
Thanks for getting in touch once again. I’m sorry to inform that no progress has been made on that, but I’ve have bumped the priority for it to be inspected. The thing is we are about to release next major version 4.3 of the plugins and mostly all development effort is focused on getting that one out. Hopefully after that one is out we can see more progress on current tickets.
Also let me say that this is not an easy change really, and I’m not sure how to help you on that. But I will touch base with the dev team to see if they have some insight to share on this customization. Will give you a heads-up on this soon!

MemberHi there Kate,
Thanks for getting in touch with us! I can help you here π
First of all, let me say what you mention is possible with some custom code but I think it will be simple if you use the event cost field for events without tickets. Please check out this article: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/use-the-event-cost-field-with-tickets-installed/. This way it won’t be necessary to hide the tickets form, and now we would have a criteria to ‘grey out’ the prices π
Please give that a try and let me know if it works for you and I’ll continue to help with they list view modification. If you think the other method is better then that’s fine too, in that case will you be using a specific Event Category for those events?

NicoNico
MemberHey Joey,
Thanks for getting in touch and for your interest in our products π
1. Are we able to display past events? Possibly with shortcode or using a category
Sure, that possible by using the events URL + ‘/past/’. For example: http://wpshindig.com/events/past
2. We are selling tickets, but not on the site. All ticket purchases are handled through ticket master. All we need is a ticket button that links to the ticket master page. What product(s) on here would allow us to do this feature? Is it just buying the pro version or do we also need to buy a ticket plugin as well?
No add-ons needed for that. You might implement this via WordPress custom fields or by using the website field of the event. Events Calendar PRO comes with a feature that might help as well: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/pro-additional-fields/
3. Can calendars look like the US bank stadium because I know they customized their calendar. We have installed the free version of the plugin, and doesnβt really look similar to it. Layout, css, etc is all different. Is this the right page for learning how to do this https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/themers-guide/
Well, it looks like they changed their site after they have been added to the showcase. While they might be still using our plugin for the back-end (or not) they have a super customized front-end! You can get to something similar though by using CSS mostly and some template overrides. The themer’s guide is the best place to start familiarizing with how to tweak the plugin views. If you are not much familiarized with coding you might want to try out a theme compatible with The Events Calendar, which already customizes the views like: Eventica.
Please let me know if there’s anything else I can help you with,
Best,
NicoNico
MemberGlad to hear that worked Adulis!
Regarding this additional issues I’m afraid you’ll need to talk to the theme developers to how those listings order and queries work. Maybe including the tribe_events post type is a global setting for all modules? If this is the case, ask for a way around this limitation. Maybe there’s a way of filtering the module query arguments?
Please let me know about if they are able to point you in the right direction,

MemberHey Leonard,
Thanks for the heads-up and sorry for the excessive delay here! I actually gave a reply to your thread short after it was posted, but for some reason it got deleted or it didn’t get posted completely π
Let me check if I can recover my original answer tomorrow first thing in the morning or else I’ll craft the reply again if it’s not possible to recover the old one.
Once again sorry for the delay here, this was totally out of my radar as the thread was successfully marked as ‘Waiting for user feedback’.

MemberThanks for the heads-up Elaine π
I understand this is working for you now, right? Are we good to close this thread out?
Please let me know about it,

MemberSure that’s possible Salle!
Just replace the keys who had there for the correct ones that the output showed:
Prenom: <?php echo $value['prenom']; ?>
Does that work for you? Have you tried enabling the commented code?
Please let me know about it,

MemberHey Mike thanks for following up!
Can you wait a bit till 4.3 is released (hopefully tomorrow) and try out ‘full view shortcodes’? I guess that will work best if you are trying this to look like the default calendar views and not like the widget shortcodes.
Regarding the menu bar, how are you selecting the correct menu? Or is it just a CSS style changing the color?
Please let me know about it,
Best,
NicoNico
MemberChris,
The solution for this seems to be theme specific. Can you please open up a new thread for the issue you are having with the Canvas theme?
Please let me know if you do and I’ll try to help you there,
Best,
NicoNico
MemberThanks Adules!
First of all sorry for the delay I was out yesterday! I went ahead and extended all your active licenses two more months (that should be enough until we resolve this) so there will not be issues with communication π
Regarding the home page builder, I previously checked the docs and they were a good starting point but didn’t help me to reproduce the issue as I wasn’t getting what you where showing. But let me say that the video did help so thanks for reminding me of that!
Well, it looks like I found the culprit! Just go to WP-Admin > Appearance > Theme Options > Custom Code > Custom Post Type Names and enter tribe_events in the field and save changes. Does this fix the issue?
Please let me know about it,
Best,
NicoNico

MemberHey Jay,
Thanks for getting in touch with us! Interesting question here π
FilterBar add-on has some useful location filters. You can narrow down events by country, state/province and city.
Regarding the map display, that’s included in Events Calendar PRO and can be activated in WP-Admin > Events > Settings > Display > Enable events views. Have you tried it out?
Please let me know if that helps,
Best,
