    Is there any news or progress on this? Even assistance in finding a workaround so it doesn’t store any ticket information in the cart between sessions would be helpful.

    Hey David,

    Thanks for getting in touch once again. I’m sorry to inform that no progress has been made on that, but I’ve have bumped the priority for it to be inspected. The thing is we are about to release next major version 4.3 of the plugins and mostly all development effort is focused on getting that one out. Hopefully after that one is out we can see more progress on current tickets.

    Also let me say that this is not an easy change really, and I’m not sure how to help you on that. But I will touch base with the dev team to see if they have some insight to share on this customization. Will give you a heads-up on this soon!

    David,

    I’ve talked about this with our product manager and he told me some preparation work for this was released recently but not the actual fix to make attendee meta persist regardless the session has expired. He also told me it’s likely to see this released in a maintenance release of 4.3 (4.3.3 / 4.3.4 maybe). This is subject to change due to time constrains but it’s the actual plan.

    Hi there,

    Just wanted to share with you that a new maintenance release (for the Week of 1st May 2017) is out, including a fix for this issue 🙂

    Now attendee meta is saved alongside the WooCommerce cart session instead of just relaying on cookies. Hopefully this prevents issues with empty attendee information in the attendees report!
