    Hi nancymcnamara,

There is not currently a way for two calendars to share or sync events. However, since The Events Calendar includes import and export options, you could have the second site regularly export the main site’s events and then import those events to their own calendar. Would that work for your clients?

    Hi ulli,

Thanks for your note. If you make the end time the same as the start time when you create the event, then only the start time will show on the frontend. Will that work for you?

    Hi Pieter,

Thanks for your interest in our plugins! You can export events from any view or any single event page. On view pages (like the Month View) clicking the Download button gives you an .ics file. Single event pages have Google Calendar Export and iCal Export buttons.

I recommend that you check out our demo site at WPshindig.com to see the buttons in action. You can also download our free core plugin, The Events Calendar, and play with it on a test site.

    Cheers,

    Hi Rob,

This forum is for questions about our premium plugins. We also have our premium forums for users with valid paid licenses. Since you don’t have a license, you can post in our open source forum. However, we don’t monitor that forum daily and we only provide limited support there.

If you need more in-depth support, you’ll want to purchase a license for one of our paid plugins. You might also try searching our premium forums to see if someone else has had a similar question and found a solution.

in reply to: Email options when a ticket is purchased? #1052020

    Hi Abby,

Thanks for your interest in our plugins! The default behavior for Event Tickets Plus is that an email is sent to the buyer when an order is completed. Any other automatic emails/notifications (such as to the admin or organizer) would depend on the settings/options of your ecommerce provider.

I suspect that WooCommerce at least has a way to send notifications when products are purchased, but it might require an extension. I recommend that you look into the capabilities of the available ecommerce providers and make your decision from there 🙂

Let us know if you have any further questions about ET+!

    Hi Schalk,

I’m sorry that we don’t have the solution you need for your current project. We are working steadily on the feature, but it’s a big one that requires a great deal of groundwork.

One of the hidden features of the new Event Tickets Plus is that it was specifically developed to be more flexible for new features like attendee meta. We know that attendee meta is a huge thing that a lot of people need, and it’s a high priority for us.

    Hi H,

We’d be happy to help you get an Event Tickets Plus license instead of the Eventbrite Tickets one (we’re nearly always willing to do refunds/exchanges when a client ends up not wanting something). If you’d like to do that, please send us an email at support(at)theeventscalendar.com and we’ll help you get set up 🙂

    Hi Josh,

We’d be happy to help you out, but you’ll need to get access to your user account and post in our premium forums. This forum is only for questions about our paid plugins, and we can’t provide support here.

If you need help regaining access to your account, we’d be happy to help out. In that case, please email us at support(at)theeventscalendar.com, and provide any names, usernames, or emails that might be associated with the account. Once you’ve got account access, you’ll be able to post a thread and receive full support from our team.

    Cheers,

    Hi Schalk,

Thanks for getting in touch. The attendee meta feature is not yet available in Event Tickets Plus, but we are working on it for a future release. I recommend that you add your vote to the UserVoice feature request page for it. That way you’ll get updates as we progress on the feature, and be notified when it is available.

Thank you for your patience while we work on improving and expanding our plugins!

    Hi Lisa,

This forum is for questions about our paid plugins. If you do need more in-depth support, you’ll want to purchase a license so you get access to our premium forums.

That said, there are a few tutorials and guides you can check out that will help get you started:

    Hi Julian,

Thanks for your post. There are two tutorials that will help you out here. First is a guide to changing or removing the Upcoming Events header. We also have a tutorial that allows you to change the word ‘events’ to something else (like ‘appointments’) all across your site. You can find that tutorial here.

    Hi there,

If you have a license for Event Tickets Plus, you can ask questions about the core Event Tickets plugin in the Plus forum. However, if you are a free user seeking support, you can post in the open source forum on WordPress.org. Please note that the free forum is not monitored daily, and we cannot provide in-depth support there.

    Hi Andrea,

Right now, this kind of custom registration is not a built in functionality in any of our plugins. However, we are working to develop it and it will be available in a future release of Event Tickets Plus.

I recommend that you add your votes to our UserVoice feature request page for custom registration (also called attendee meta) so that you’ll be notified as we make progress. You’ll also want to check out Event Tickets Plus and read our guide on how to transition to it from WooCommerce Tickets.

    Hi there,

Thanks for your interest in our plugins! I’ll do my best to answer your questions.

    1. You can do a one day event that recurs every day for six weeks, or you could do one event that spans for six weeks. I recommend that you read through our guide on Creating an Event. If you’d like to use recurring events, you’ll also want to check out our PRO Recurring Events tutorial.
    2. You can set a specific number of tickets per type, but there is not a way to do a global stock that covers all ticket types and decreases accordingly. However, we are hoping to add global stock in a future release.
2a. Refunds and cancellations differ depending on what ecommerce provider you use.
2b. Admins can cancel events from the backend of the site.
    3. I’m sorry, I don’t understand your question here: Do you have different types of things, it shows PRO users. What other types of users are there?

    What do you mean by:
Currently, WooTickets will only show up on the frontend once per full event. For PRO users this means the same ticket will appear across all events in the series. Please configure your events accordingly.

This means that you cannot make a ticket for each individual instance of a recurring event. You can make tickets for a full series of recurring events, but the same ticket will appear (and be purchaseable) on all events in that series. This means it doesn’t work as well for someone who wants to do something like a recurring performance and sell tickets for each different night. For your event, I think it will work okay because your customers can buy one ticket from any instance of that event, and thus have access to the whole series. Does that clarify things?

    Best,

    Leah
